The government should be small and NON intrusive so people can make a success of their businesses, and when they do they hire people and we have jobs.

I am anti-Communism, nothing good has EVER come of letting the government control your life.

seems to me that the poll is generally non favorable to more government with the exception of a few who feel they want to live in a socialistic world and have the government telling them what to eat, breath and work

I was watching TV last night where they were talking about a lot of people for Obama being motivated by fear...that is just sad. They are afraid they won't be able to pay their bills so they want Obama to take care of them like Mommy and Daddy. When will people realize this will only hurt them in the end? The less dependent you are, the more freedom you have, and the government cannot be your Mommy and Daddy.

The piles and piles of "new laws" that the government shoves down our throats every year makes it nearly impossible to begin to thrive as a nation.

they love it and it just keeps people down and never any upward mobility with tons and tons of regulations. Those that are already down are a feather in their cap. Its the rest that are starting to notice

it's that same mentality that the Russians had under communism. Everyone is equally poor and miserable, except for those who are elected over them that have all the money, and power and perks.

If Obamcare is so great then all of government should test it on themselves before imposing it on the people. That would be novel. Sheesh the post office cannot deliver my mail on time and do I want them in my healthcare. NO

We have an Unconstitutional government based on its size and trampling of states rights.
Apparently the Constitution does not matter to our government. ALL gun laws are Unconstitutional. Hate crimes laws are Unconstitutional.

Less government spending, more thoughtful and productive emphasis on government's true roles and the differences between the roles of federal and state government, and more concern for protecting the citizens of this country from fraud and corruption in high places.
Our current government lacks all the above.

Not sure about anyone else, but I dont like the government peeking over my shoulder telling me what I should or shouldn't do. They've over regulating as it is and suspended all due process and civils rights, how can that be a good thing, EVER?

Most DEFINITELY WORSE!!! The bigger the Govt gets, the more salaries we have to pay, and the more people there are that can't come together on anything, RULING AND DESTROYING our lives. And CHARGING us for their MISTAKES!!!
