Common sense tells me Ms Romney has been paying attention to the bad press Ms Obama has been receiving because of these vacations. I don't think she would want the negative attention heaped upon her like it has been on Ms Obama.

Romney is NO DIFFERENT than Obama and his elite wife will at least match Michelle's spending. Now don't get me wrong, I hate the Obamas for their arrogant attitudes and wasteful spending but elites are all the same and I am betting if Romney gets in, his wife will be no different.

I disagree, but raved you for posting your opinion. We already have precedent to use as a measuring stick, in that Mitt Romney's wife wasn't extravagant with taxpayer money when her husband was a governor. So I see no reason to expect her to act any differently when he is president.

Michelle out did herself in so many ways. Mrs. Romney might go on official trips but in my opinion she will not gouge the American people to satisfy who she is. I do think that the question could have left "MORMON" out. I don't think the question would be asked about Obamas BLACK wife...

The Romney's would spent their vacation time in San Diego, his wife would not need to travel to all the spot's that Michelle did as she has already been there.
