Do you think McCain will make it to the election? He had more of his face removed yesterday. it is a VP race, that is the clincher for most of us.

Yes, McCain is cancerous?
No, he is healthy in heart, mind, body, spirit?
Undecided? Why?
Possibly, but more important, it is the next VP who is most important. What?

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Republican Sen. John McCain said Monday he had had a small patch of skin removed from his face and biopsied as part of a regular checkup with his dermatologist.

"She said that I was doing fine," McCain, a three-time melanoma survivor, told reporters on a presidential campaign visit to an oil rig where he spoke briefly about his proposed energy plan. "She took a small little nick from my cheek, as she does regularly, and that will be biopsied just to make sure everything is fine."

The Arizona senator underwent the procedure in Phoenix during a checkup he undergoes every three months. He sported a small bandage on his upper right cheek on his campaign plane but had removed it by the time he spoke with reporters. A small, dark spot stood out on his face.

McCain urged people to stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen, particularly during the summer.

"If you ever have any slight discoloration please go to your dermatologist or your doctor and get it checked out as soon as possible," he said.

Asked if his doctor was confident the problem was nothing serious, McCain replied, "Sure, sure."

The fair-skinned Arizona senator, who suffered severe sun damage from his 5 1/2 years in Vietnamese prison camps, gets an in-depth skin cancer check every few months because of a medical history of dangerous melanomas.

Most likely he will make it through the election, and I hope he beats any cancer he might have. I also hope he changes tack on his campaign, goes back to the honorable one he originally promised, loses gracefully, finishes out his career in the senate, and lives a long, healthy life in the private sector.

I wish McCain the best of luck with his cancer, because i believe this will be a constant battle for him. He needs to stay out of the sun,and his campaigning against Obama, consists of being out and in the UVrays, thus endangering his fragile skin even more.

He will make it through the election. Hope all goes well. It is not new to him. He will be just fine after the surgery. He will be back on the trail in no time.

Call it a 6th sense, I think McCain is going down. I also think Romney is a bad choice for VP as is the guy from India in Louisiana. The republicans may be setting McCain the gelding up, to ensure he loses. The interesting aspect is that regardless of how bad his campaign is, the core republican party and hard core Hillary supporters, if we can really say they were for Hillary to begin with, appear to be supporting him. We can also see that the republican base does vote against race, affirmative action, equal employment opportunity and so forth. Werther this voting block has money, which about 10% of them has MOST of the $$$$$$ in America and then cries that they pay taxes for their fortunes, the people who really pay most of the taxes in America are the people who make less then $100,000 a year.

So, it is equally as important to see who Senator Obama picks as a VP.

america people 100000 year equally important senator obama picks vp

McCain is not my choice but i hope he has this condition under control. I personally think that his VP choice is his only choice and finding someone noteworthy and attractive (to the public), will be a problem, who wants to commit suicide?

I'm more concerned with his mental abilities right now. His actions recently are rather alarming and truly points towards the onset of Alzheimer's. I see it daily with my mom's husband; can't remember what he said moment to moment, but remembers years ago perfectly. Hey, maybe McCain will revert to the way he was in 2000!
