No, the Democrats are determined to ruin the greatest country in the history of the world. Limiting guns to criminals, giving away billions in goodies to their supporters, being sure mental patients, criminals and illegal aliens have their rights protected while going after honest citizens. Plus of course totally giving up on any idea of fiscal responsibility. (Just how IS the Senate doing on that budget?)

I have a feeling they will since they have a reputation of doing things at the last minute. I can't say it will be anything good though.

The NOP is self destructing. The NOP has more splinters than a weathered barn in Wyoming and each splinter disregards the validity of all other splinters. Speaker Boner has a House full of cats and he has proved unable to herd them on too many occasions. The Boner is finished as Speaker, and the comdedian Cantor will take the gavel and find he is even worse at herding cats. Try this conundrum on for size. The NOP, under Grover Norquist's Oath, is trying to keep from taxing their pimps, the richest 2%. So they did a Palin and quit. The NOPs in the House refuse to present a bill and on January 1, 2013, the NOP will raise the taxes of the very pimps they work for.

I sure hope so, but it probably won't be until the last possible second. Congress has pretty much just become a waste of time.

The Republicans don't care if we go over the "Fiscal Cliff." They have to keep the fat cats happy and the hell with the middle class and poor.

The dems have steered it so that Republicans are blamed no matter what. Read all the blame Boehner comments. Even though he is worthless.

Blameless? The repugs in the House did a Palin. They quit. The repugs in the House failed to pass a bill and that fact alone will push America off the cliff.

Every bill sent to the senate is shelved. 100% of them. Dems are the obstructionistd.

Oh, I get it. The repugs in the House left town but because they failed to vote on their own bill, which was guaranteed to have enough votes to pass, because they don't want to legislate anything. Bravo. I appreciate it that you pointed that out.

We`re going over the cliff No matter what decision is made as long as we have the imposter and dingy Harry calling the shots , This is all just a show , A plan to make the easily fooled believe they are looking out for them, While delibertly scheming to tax all of America under the impression that the GOP are only thinking of the rich , These people want complete control and are lying threw their teeth to get it

The liberals don't want to come to agreement. They want to conquer and rule. Otherwise they would have contributed to solving the problem.

Actually, I don't care. All I want is for doing what's 'right' to prevail. And by 'right' I mean good for the U.S., logical and in our best interest. Unfortunately, I've learned to mistrust obama to the point where I'm suspicious of anything he promotes.

Boehner has lost control of the Republicans. He can't make a deal with Obama because he can't get his own party to go along with a compromise of any sort. They are ideologically stuck on stupid. We're going over the clift.

Where did you come up with that? I want us to go over the cliff and pay Bush and his Democrat's 4 trillion off and Obama and that same Democrat House's 8 trillion off. What do you think happens when we don't borrow more money? We pay the tab. What I said above was let's pay the tab.

Probably not. Each side appears to think they will benefit from it, but anything's possible. It looks to me like a way for both sides to do what they know needs to be done while being able to blame each other.

The progressive slime known as Democrats are hoping we go over the fiscal cliff so they can blame the Republicans. When the across-the-board tax hikes and entitlement spending is slashed wholesale, the slime will be just as much at fault no matter how the MSM tries to spin it.
