I do not think there is even a remote comparison between the two besides the world has drastically changed since Regan was in the White House. I guess everyone is entitled to his or her opinion on this topic. Perhaps, it would be best to listen to the two in their own words and then maeke a decision.

Sure, he can see himself any way he chooses. But it makes him look like a demented fool to compare himself to Reagan. Possibly he IS a demented fool?

He is welcome to see himself as Mother Teresa or Mahatma Gandhi if he likes but it still doesn't make it true. In reality he more like FDR or LBJ on steroids and about as anti-Reagan as it gets.

Obama is hopefully one of a kind. We surely can afford another like him. And if he was like Reagan, we'd be heading out of our recession and on our way to recovery by now.

How could a communist be compared to Reagan? He's either lost his mind or his self-delusion of superiority has finally tipped him over the bridge. He's an arrogant ass who thinks he knows what's best for a country he has lied to, cheated, and dishonored his entire life.

Reagan lowered the misery index by 10 points when the country was in much worse shape when he took over than Obama.
Obama raised the misery index by 3 points, and blamed everything on his predecesor.
Reagan always loved his country and took public office to serve America and make it better.
Obama and his wife stated they were never proud of America until they were running it and entered public service to serve themselves.
Reagan beieved in fiscal responsibility and took the blame as well as the credit for his actions.
Obama spends, and spends with no ideas on how to pay for the things he wants and blames everyone else for his shortcomings

I could go on but there is reallly no comparison. Obama is not good for America nor does he really care to be.
