I have had issues with this nurse time and time again. I'm back in hospital having another round of treatment and once again she is assigned to me.
She makes snarky comments about me being homosexual and how her faith is against it.
Should i report her for this?

Theoretically: The United States is an airplane.
Do you focus all of the weight (politicians) on the right wing? Or the left wing? No, you balance it in the middle. The plane does not turn from it's path!
....and why come here and ask such a stupid ass question? Do you not have a brain of your own, or are you just looking for the attention that you feel those who are "Treating" you are not giving you?
Here:
Give yourself a good blow. I'm sure you'll feel better.
Most nurses are too busy to engage in anything but treating patients
There are three sides to every story...yours, hers and the truth..
We've only heard your sketchy comments....
Not enough for me to condemn or condone anything!
I just don't know any nurses who have time to intimidate patients!
Is this a professional nurse RN etc. or are you dealing with an Aide...not everyone you call a nurse is a nurse? They are all required to wear badges with their name and status!!
If this nurse/aide is indeed tormenting you for no reason, why have you not addressed it with a supervisor, charge nurse social worker, director of nurses, ombudsman....all available in hospitals?
I don't understand the pity party but no action.
I'm not the one asking for people to give me sympathy, while they tell me how to stand on my own two feet and speak up for myself.
Tell Kleenex boy ....
That is no different than someone making snarky comments about someones race. Even if you are against it you still have to be professional and do your job. If she is so religious, she should know that she must not judge others for what they do, that is only for her God to decide.
I am a Registered Nurse. My initial concern is how great a nurse she is and does her superior professional capability outweigh your having to deal with her anti homosexual zeal?
If you can deal with it, then just state your objection to her bigotry and that you will no longer tolerate it. Use this opportunity to share you thought on the matter in an intelligent conversation. If she continues, report her. At the same time, speak to her immediate supervisor and make it clear you will not allow her near you.
If we don't demand that Professionals ACT like Professionals,, HISTORY shows that these things get worse and become widespread..
There is not a reason in the WORLD why YOU should be forced to put UP with this.. And considering that she has your health and wellbeing,, including your emotional and mental health,, in her hands,, you have EVERY right to expect and demand the she has your best INTERREST in her HEART..,
Those who don't take a stand against bigotry WHEREVER it exist,, WHENEVER it exist and from Whomsoever it comes from become,, even if unwillingly,, a PARTY to it..
