It is not a day of the devil. It was originally the pagan new year celebration. Pagans don't worship the devil. The devil is a part of the Christian religion, not the pagans'. You have to believe in God to believe in the devil. We don't believe in either.

I chose the wrong answer. I love halloween! There is nothing satanic about dressing up as someone or something else and eating a lot of candy. Anyone who thinks that is evil has got some serious issues.

Halloween is an annual celebration a kind of demon worship and apparently considered as an ancient pagan ceremony. It's on Halloween, that the witch covens have their great annual worship service and offer a blood sacrifice to Satan. All through the year the Satanists sacrifice cats, dogs, and other animals; but on this special day they offer a human being-one of their own or other children which they select for this ghoulish act of murder. We must realize that Halloween is the Devil's birthday, when the witches and Satan worshippers make a human sacrifice by slaying a child.
The word itself, "Halloween," is the shortened form of "All Hallows Day", the night before "All Saints' Day", though the original observances took place, in the 5th century BC, in Celtic Ireland. The Celtic year officially ended on October 31 and the holiday was called Samhain (sow-en), the Celtic New year.
Following a line of investigations into the origins of Halloween have generally concluded that those who were primarily responsible for the present-day events were pre-Christian Celtic Druids.

The Celtic year officially ended on October 31 and the holiday was called Samhain (sow-en), the Celtic New year.
Following a line of investigations into the origins of Halloween have generally concluded that those who were primarily responsible for the present-day events were pre-Christian Celtic Druids.
Did you know that the Druid priests held sacred the hours of midnight and noon? The Gaulish (French) word, druides, might be derived from the word dru-vides meaning "those who know the oak." The oak tree and the mistletoe were considered to be sacred, also. The Druids forecasted events both by interpreting the flight of birds and by examining the markings on the entrails, the liver, and other inner organs of sacrificed animals.
The Druids were Satanic to the core in their worship and pagan practices. Halloween is a Druid holiday that we in America have received from satanic paganism. On this day the Druids honored the Sun god and the lord of the dead Lucifer. The Sun god was thanked for the harvest; Lucifer the lord of the dead was to come down with sacrifices of horses and human beings. Halloween is one of the greatest celebrations of Satan –worshiper involved with Black Mass and mass orgy. Behind this celebration Satan and his high ranking armies are involved to possess the people as their legal ground.
Apparently sacrifices were wished-for to frighten away the evil spirits. The Druids believed that departed souls roamed around on the night of 31 October, often playing tricks and indulging in various supernatural antics in order to frighten the living.
The evil spirits only fear the power of blood of Jesus Christ, not those ridicules ways that put the humans in bondage. Halloween is occultist and not a simple and safe event for our children to get involved with by custom dressing. Parents must seriously avoid their children not to mess around with this occasion.
Halloween may have become misinterpreted for the majority of people but its roots remain satanic.
Halloween can lead the people to serious disaster, by getting involves them with the neo-pagans, real witches, New Ages, and other occultists. More and more people are coming to believe in spooks and increasingly the youths are becoming involved in the occult for Halloween for serious, demonic activity. A common activity is the use of an Ouija board to attempt to contact ghosts or spirits that are believed to be roaming about. This can lead to serious consequences, including demon possession. Dungeons and Dragons apparently also can lead to similar consequences. The English word "occult" comes from the Latin occultism, meaning "to cover up, hide, or conceal." Its purpose is to deceive and God's word tells us that Satan is the great deceiver. It is not simply a philosophy it is the domain of extremely powerful, hostile super beings that belong to Satan's legion of demons who have a powerful plan to destroy you and your family. By tricking you into doing the very things Halloween sets up as fun for all ages, which God says are evil, and wicked, you are choosing to participate in Satan's Halloween games, which he will win and you will get burned by losing your eternal soul to hell for the entire eternity.
Halloween practices open the door to the occult and can introduce forces into people's lives that they are not equipped to combat. There is real demonic power in the occult. This is the devil's playground and there is nothing here to be gained by anyone who loves God. Any serious study of Biblical demonology will reveal Satan as the power behind false religion, witchcraft, idolatry and the occult. The Word of God makes it clear that these are all to be avoiding as dangerous. In spite of this, occultism, in any form, was punishable by death in the Old Testament. Why? Because the spiritual power actuality behind the idols engaged demons.
According to Bible I Timothy 4:1, 2: But the Spirit says clearly that in later times some will be turned away from the faith, giving their minds to spirits of deceit, and the teachings of evil spirits. Through the false ways of men whose words are untrue, whose hearts are burned as with a heated iron.
There is no allowance in the Scriptures to compromise with the sin and no good can come out of observing the Halloween. Apostle Paul said to Elymas: "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?" (Acts 13:10, NIV). Elymas tried to convert a believing Consul away from the true Christ. Believers in Druidism, witchcraft and all occultic arts would all do the same given the chance.
God of the Bible said: “Do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations” (Deuteronomy 18:9). That commandment was not given to us to be compromised by saying that this or that heathen practice is harmless. Sin always begins with this form of rationalization: first you sympathize with sin and then you end up fully embracing it. Halloween in all its forms is completely wrong like; children wear the customs and play tricks on people, teenagers and adults look at into the divinations, witchcraft and Satanism, which are parts of it.
Halloween stands opposed to a fundamental tenet of the Christian faith, which should be an important yardstick in determining the way we should live, which says:
“Whatever things are true, whatever things have honor, whatever things are upright, whatever things are holy, whatever things are beautiful, whatever things are of value, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, give thought to these things.” Philippians 4:8
Halloween fails on every count when measured against these inspired words of the Bible. A Bible believer cannot follow Truth while dabbling in the exact opposite and still be acceptable to the True Father. Jeremiah 10:2 says very clearly, “Learn not the way of the heathen.”
The sincere worshiper can’t live a lie. Halloween is filled with lies born in the depths of rank ignorance in one of history’s most pagan and superstitious cultures. The true man and woman of Yahweh must make conscious, deliberate choices. The true faith is not a passive triteness that just goes along with whatever society does.
“Last of all I want to remind you that your strength must come from the Lord's mighty power within you. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand safe against all strategies and tricks of Satan. For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against persons without bodies- the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world; and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the spirit world.” Ephesians 6:10-12

Where I live, halloween is from 1 to 5 PM (daylight), and shame on the parents that aren't watching their kids. What young kids go trick or treating alone?

Any resources to back up your claim?

Here's a few: 2000 kids go missing every day in the US, 99% of which are found at a later date. Usually run aways.

Where I live it's from 6 to 8 so it's dark when it's all done.

Well u have alot of this here because their very stupid up here if not they let their kids do that all by themselves.

Watch the news & you'll hear alot about that.

Yea but still some of them do go missing on Halloween.
