This has been eatting away in me for some time. Do you think children should vote? I mean we're the ones that are going to pay for it in the future so why can't we choose for are selfs?
Every parent tells their kids that we are the future of the world we are the future of America our parents teach us to be strong so in the future we wont back down by threats if you change us we'll you change you straight back. Children we see the world in new fresh ways we know what the world wants we know what the world needs.
Knowing us we try to make problems as easy and painless as we can. Adults worry about every little things.
We can't do this without doing that we can do that without doing this. their looking at every little thing.
With kids we like why can't we do that?
If Kids are going to be the future of America we need to show that we are, we can pick our leader.
Yeah I see where your going with this what about the babies through ten or this through this, I'm not saying to make us vote. I'm just saying to give us a chance to show that we do care whats happening around us.

No, in fact I question if even 18 year olds have th insight and life experience it takes to make an informed decision on any give subject of importance. "kids" shouldn't even be left to make important decision concerning their own life let alone anything that effects the public.

The fact you think at your age you have the knowledge and experience it would take to make an informed decision on any give issue proves you are ignorant and lack insight. It's no big deal to be ignorant is to simply not know. But in the end what it comes down to is this, Bet no one let's you vote,,,,! You can delude yourself all you like, but, fact is kids can't be trusted with decisions like voting and no government in their right mind is EVER, going to give children the right to vote.

As each year pass Teens and children are put through more stressful problems more than you can ever know so stressful that it can break the strongest man and make him turn to death. If we can handle that we can handle choosing someone to represent us.

Do children pay taxes? Do children work to feed themselves? Do children under the ages of 18 allow to drive? Do children own home? Can children support themselves? Have they finish highschool to know what history was all about? Do children know what the Constitution is about? Do children have the right to own a gun? Can children protect themselves from terrorists and other criminal pedophiler? Can children command their parent and control parents house and life? I think not!!

Trust me we would be doing all of that if we could you know why we dont? Because adults wont freaken let us!!!!!! Everything is set in age if it wasnt for age i would living in my own house, feeding myself heck i would be driving to mexico if I could. But I cant because I'm not old enough and in history I understand more than you know the Constitution is about rights that no one can take away from you its the only reason we're free. But tell me sitting at home not being able to go to store or the movies or whatever without your parents knowing sound like freedom to you? So you want us to sit and act like little angles and pretend this doesn't bother us. Let me tell you it does!!!! More than you freanken know!! So don't sit at your computer and type all the things that can't control because of age and because of adult so dont you dare go there.

And that's why you should not vote yet. Children and most teens are very ignorant and naive when it comes to politics, and far too many adults are too. I would hope that when you can vote you will do your reseach on who you are voting for. Too many people voted for our current President because they thought he was so cool, hip and young, not to mention he was half black. Turns out he's just an empty suit.

You mean Hillary? The DNC chose Obama to run, and it wasn't just because he was a man. It is much more complicated then that. As far as children taking on the world, well they don't always do the right thing. I know this first hand, I have a 17 yr old, and I remember I didn't always either. With age, hopefully comes wisdom.
