Assault Weapon bans are just giving in eventual full gun bans.

"You don't need to carry a handgun."
"You don't need to carry more than 10 rounds"
"You do not need a hunting rifle in the city"
"You do not need a shotgun in an apartment"
"You do not need a weapon for protection when you have the police"

It is our future if we allow politicians to ban so-called assault weapons.

Absolutely not! We should have access to whatever the government may use against us...short of nuclear weapons (which I don't really think they would use against their own citizens). That is after all, what the second amendment is all about...actually the ONLY thing it's about...stopping a tyrannical government.

When the US Constitution was penned any citizen could own a firearm that was more accurate and more powerful than the general issue military musket. Private citizens owned cannon and warships and were permitted to wage war on America's enemies.

The citizen is the first line of defense against crime and tyranny.

Perhaps you should research the facts and return once you do. All mass shootings aside from the Tucson shootings have taken place in gun free zones like malls, schools, theaters, churches, etc.
