Do you think any Justice on the Supreme Court would "sell" their vote if bribed with enough money?

Supreme Court notwithstanding, they got to the Clinton's to support Barry Monster's candidacy in 2008 by killing Bill's best friend and threatening Chelsea's life. There are other ways to bribe someone than with money and with those ways we are all susceptible.

Honestly, I have NO IDEA what you're talking about, but if you buy into such conspiracy theories, you need to get help. Immediately. Anyway, thanks for your response, jasmine1.

This was not reported on by the MSM, naturally but by WND and some of the other very credible news sources on the internet that arew not controlled by the Whitehouse. You have no idea just how much news has been censored by our government. Ask yourself when is the last time you heard about Sheriff Joe's investigation into Obama's birth issue. You haven't because it has been nixed by the Whitehouse, Malia Obama's Spring Break trip to Mexico - nixed by the Whitehouse. There aren't too many stories about how he wanted to take away the veterans medical benefits either. Our news is censored. These are but a few incidents. There are many more and it is scary. Without a free press we are in deep horse manure. Also when he told the MSM that they were NOT to report on the Birthing Issue or risk being fired or more some pundits quit their jobs, fearing for their families safety. This was reported on by several news sites.

All of your comments sound to be conspiracy theories, IMO. I'd hate to be so paranoid and live in your head. [One of the reasons we haven't heard much more about Sheriff Joe Arpaio's so-called "investigation" into President Obama's birth certificate is that the guy is embroiled with some legal problems of his own.] Did you believe all of this crap when the Bush/Cheney regime was running the show?

That's probably why I don't deal with anything but the obvious part of politics, because just scratching the surface exposes a deep, corrupt, dirty, scary underbelly of corruption and other skulduggery.

Yes, I agree with you and sometimes I wish that I would just stop reading so much and digging so much. It really bothers me and I worry for my country and my fellow Americans for whom I feel a great deal of brotherly love. It seems like we are just pawns. I probably will take your attitude in the future. It might be better for my health since I cannot do much about it anyway.

Sounds like it. Another really scary item, it came out of C7 that Obama ratified. It is called Basel III and it will totally revamp (I say control and destroy) our banks as we know them. I am not talking about the investment banks but the ones we do business with on a daily basis and where we have our personal accounts. If you look it up it sounds inocuous but it isn't. The idea is for banks to total all their loans and lines of credit plus charge account lines of credit then they must buy that amount of government bonds to offset the risk. The federal government expects to raise about $3Trillion this way. Sounds crazy but I got this info from someone who is an executive at one of these banks and this person is supposed to start working on putting this program into effect. It is supposed to start in 2015.(I hope that date is correct). This really scares me.

I must be honest here... Right now, the Republican Party frightens me more than the federal government. They're the ones behind Citizens United. As a matter of fact, Grover Norquist, one of Mitt Romney's buddies and largest contributors, has said that they're going to use all the Super PAC money raised to put conservatives in local, state and the federal governments. I don't know about you, but I sure don't want one party controlling everything. That's why we have a two-party [we need three] system and an adversarial form of government.

The system was put into play and called checks and balances so no one would be in complete control and it has worked until now when we have someone in the Whitehouse who just overrides Congress; and that is scary. I agree, we need both to keep each other in check but right now maybe it is good to get rid of some of the dead wood and start over. Get rid of the Communist Czars and the George Soros influence. Then, maybe, we can become a fair and balanced nation. I really hope so, but then I am such an optimist!

I beg to differ about the Obama administration. George W. Bush and his people invoked executive privilege WAY more often than President Obama has. As a moderate in my politics, I can't blame the current ills of our country totally on liberals. There are plenty of conservatives who are doing their best to stink up the joint, too! The polarization currently existing in Congress and the lack of civil political discourse are only serving to make the American government even worse.

    What do you suggest?
  • Tigger Too jasmine1 2012/07/07 15:34:56
    Tigger Too
The only suggestion to be made is that Congress needs to become more bipartisan. As things stand now, Republicans refuse to budge on any issue, because they hate Obama. That's fine to dislike the president, but not at the expense of the American people.

I already buy my health insurance, thank you very much. I am all about personal responsibility - which means I don't need the government running my life.
