No contest! W will go down in history as the worst President ever: the President who invaded another country under false pretenses, the President who turned a surplus into national debt of mammoth proportions, the President who sold off public lands for private profit, the President who toyed with Constitutional rights, got away with breaking the law and let treason in his Administration go unpunished - the list goes on and on....

How about F.D.R. rounding up all the Japanese Americans during WWII. Nobody seems to remember that.

I think we are ready for a girl to be president, but I just WISH Hillary wouldn't the first.
If anyone votes becuase she is a woman, that is PLAIN stupidity.
If you agree with her views, by all means, go for it, but PLEASE, just have a REAL reason.
Hopefully, someone who represents the female aspect of politics with dignity and class with show up another time.
Hillary is not the one I, personally, would want.

Hillary has experience and doesn't cry sexism when she loses unlike her rival Barack Hussien Obama. I nan't believe that Roland fron CNN and the other one from the Washington post said that Barack won S.C. because of the Black vote and the Clinton's are racist. Crybaby, cry...

All of the women I KNOW, say a woman should NEVER be president.
Personally, I just don't think Hillary's loyalty lies with America's best interests.

Im sure ready for one but I think most of the country isnt....any country that would re-elect Bush is not very progressive and it shows how far we still have to go
  • Karo Dara 2008/01/12 16:17:13

True - but I really wonder if he was elected without some skewing of the poll results. All it would take is a little tweaking of an Excel spreadsheet - yes, it's that easy to tamper with election results! I guess I just don't want to believe that so many Americans were so stupid as to give him four more years after what he did.

We may be ready for a woman . . . but not Hillary Clinton. She is the most devisive candidate running for the office. Obama is still a light-weight and not ready to lead anything. I personally will vote for John Edwards on Super Tuesday if he is still in the race. My hope is that Clinton and Obama keep beating each other up and we wind up with a brokered convention. That way a third and more qualified candidate may emerge.

I dont know if america is - but I am. Hillary is the only one of the canidates who has a clue of what she's getting into. She's actually lived in the white house- dealt with the chaos of every day life in it as well as the chaos of scandal. She did more for the US than Al Gore did- during Bill Clinton's presidency. She knows what she's doing.
Everyone else just talks- especially- Obama he has plenty of 'hope' but thats it. A friend of mine's mother wrote an email to Obama asking about his stand on different subjects and she got a message back- NOT saying I appreciate your interest or anything , but only saying "I need you to send me $50''. thats all it said.
Hillary is smarter than most know, and very capable.

I can just see Hillary participating in a life or death issue breaking into tears. and saying "I can't participate in this matter, I am PMSing and having hot flashes."
  • Garbage... Hazel 2008/01/12 01:35:58

hey 70 yr old hazel, you should know by now- pms and hot flashes dont go together. one is caused from the lack of being able to have your period. you sound like a sexist man.
  • Hazel Garbage... 2008/01/12 18:13:34

    Dear Garbage Vixen:

Your answer shows how little you know about menapause. It is a process, and at Hillary's age she should know, whereby you have a combination of the two. Hormones rage up and down, thus causing PMS. No I am not a sexist man. I am just a person who has been there, done that! Even after the M cycle has ceased around the time when it was supposed to happen those tender edgey feeling still come to the front.
