Probably 80 - 90% of them...........I can't tell you how many people I've supported over the years who swore they'd be rock-ribbed constitutionalists, only to profoundly disappoint after winning the election. ive supported years swore rock-ribbed constitutionalists profoundly disappoint winning election

seems the presumption is going that way . . . used to be they were considered trustworthy until proven otherwise, but now the burden seems to be on them to prove that they are trustworthy at the threshold

The list of untrustworthy politicians is too long. It would be easy to list the ones I trust. Basically most have been corrupted by greed, power and lobbyist. Look at R. Paul, his answer for why he took $750,000 in pork was unacceptable. All these pork projects are coming from monopoly money which will weaken the dollar. His supporters refuse to hold him accountable. Pork is Pork our country simple cannot afford it. If we are in such a "crisis" why are our politicians pigging out?

Hell yes! I think once they get in and feel the power, it takes them over. They join all the others, they protect each other and on they go. comment feel power join protect

unfortunately yes. I would not want that job. They may start out that way but easily corrupted. There may be a few but they are hard to find the majority are liers and will tell you anything you want as long as you give them your vote. Hmmm does that remind you of our recent election. (Awww nah she didn't) yes I did.

I think 90% of them lack trusting qualities. They don't keep campaign promises, so you don't get what you thought you would.

Definitely so! I would guess that only 5% are actually concerned about the people. The rest have their own special interests and agendas to push to worry about the little people.

At a national level most are into side bars...things that are solely and strictly for them to fatten their wallets..without a second thought of the ppl they are supposed to be serving. At local levels there are probably more honest ones. Until BO, i never paid much attention to the gov, and was always anti-gov...I didn't vote till Clinton, who i thought was a baby boomer like myself and cared about us. Of course there has always been corruption but i never thought socialism would ever come into play. And possibly communism. There has never been such a brutal attack on tax payers.

No I don't think they are untrustworthy but I think they are gutless and would do nothing unless ok'd by a poll. They care more for being re elected than the country.

I can't think of many that have worked for the benefit of the common man.
You hear about the middle class and the rich all the time but you never hear about the flat out poor.....are they avoiding the subject cause they knew the middle class were going to be poor too....didnt want to remind people what poor was?

Well it's real and the way things are going with so much arrogance between the two parties they will not fight for the people.

They fight for democrat and republican but never the common man.

I can't remember the last time i politician came up to me and said hay what do you think about this law. fight people fight democrat republican common remember politician hay law
