A funeral home is stepping things up and opening a Starbucks store inside to boost business.

HAHAJK.COM reports:
The Robinson Funeral Home in Easley, S.C., has decided the loss of a loved one doesn’t stand a chance against the craving for a Grande Caramel Latte, and is opening a Starbucks in one wing of the home.

But I can't drink starbucks. The mop water they serve is nasty. I like black coffee and starbucks uses horrible coffee. Most people wouldn't know the difference cause they put all the flavored junk in theirs.

I like a strong full flavored coffee. At home I drink Community cafe' special. You can order it online if they don't sell community where you live. 8 O'Clock coffee if good too. Starbucks has a bitter edge and no flavor.

The worst coffee I ever had was when I was based at Norton AFB yrs ago in the coffee bins. Swear the coffee was 3 days old still cooking; look like mud gawd awful!

I like strong coffee but I don't like it burnt and scorched. I was lucky, the Army always had pretty good coffee.

Sometimes, I am a frayed to tell them I want my senior coffee when I am at a restaurant. they will probably bring me some of that old old coffee that has been sitting behind the counter for four or five days.

I myself don't drink coffee, but lots of funeral homes have coffee and stuff for the family of the deceased, so why not just go ahead and get the good coffee from a starbucks?

Terrible idea, but it does go to show how money hungry Funeral Homes are. Only Starbucks that are in their own buildings are owned by Starbucks. All others located in third party structures are licensed franchises.

Hey, it's a private business. If the funeral home owner and Starbucks have reached a deal and can make it work, so be it.

Tasteless and shameful........... trying to profit off of others suffering... despicable. The funeral home should be offering these folks free coffee.

Disrespectful... I would also be leery since not all funeral homes operated within regulations. If that backroom/basement could tell stories. How were the chemicals and blood handled? A food based business is a bad idea according to my stomach. Offices, ok, apartments, ok (I'd live there, we get along)... food, not ok.... I think my guide just dry heaved too....

Gross isn't really the right word, disrepectful and mercenary come to mind.
Personally, I'd avoid using a funeral home with such business as part of their operation.

I wouldn't want to be an employee at this Starbucks. I signed up to make coffee and I've gotta look at dead bodies all day? No. Plus imagine how depressing the environment will be. They won't be able to hear the orders through the sobbing!

I almost skipped answering this one until I saw this answer option.

The smell of coffee is awesome and totally reminds me of Ma.
