Do You Support White Supremacist Ron Paul ?
10 quotes directly from Ron Paul that make him sound incredibly racist, it’s hard to believe otherwise. Read the quotes for yourself, and see if you believe Ron Paul is a racist.
1. ”We don’t think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That’s true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such.”
2. “What else do we need to know about the political establishment than that it refuses to discuss the crimes that terrify Americans on grounds that doing so is racist? Why isn’t that true of complex embezzling, which is 100 percent white and Asian?”
3. ”Six-hundred-thousand Americans died in the senseless Civil War. No, he should not have gone to war. He did this just to enhance and get rid of the original tenet of the Republic.” -Regarding the Civil War
4. ”Given the inefficiencies of what DC laughingly calls the criminal justice system, I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal. These aren’t my figures, that is the assumption you can gather from” the report.”
5. “Contrary to the claims of the supporters of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the sponsors of H.Res. 676, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 did not improve race relations or enhance freedom. Instead, the forced integration dictated by the Civil Rights Act of 1964 increased racial tensions while diminishing individual liberty.” -On the 40th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act
6. “The Criminals who terrorize our cities – in riots and on every non-riot day – are not exclusively young black males, but they largely are.”
7. “I wouldn’t vote against getting rid of the Jim Crow laws.” -When asked if he would have voted for the Civil Rights Act.
8. “Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action.”
9. “Immigrants can spread diseases for which we may have no immunity. There is also the question of crime and culture. Many immigrants come from countries with different legal structures and are not willing to behave in the way we expect American citizens to behave.”
10. “There is no such thing as a hate crime.”

I Support White Supremacist Ron Paul+35Well, well, well looks like Che wants too post more Liberal Bull$hit and propoganda!

1. He never said it, lie. Even if he had said it, it would not have been racist, since it has nothing to do with their race, but with the fact that many, most in fact, gang members are black. It is because many blacks are poor, and American poverty encourages crime to survive,
2.This isn't even racist, unless I am missing context need to see why it would be.
3.Lincoln did not go to war to end or even combat slavery, but to hold together the republic. So this isn't racist, and second, honestly, he was right. Many southern states, even after succeeding, were considering ending slavery, and so it would have decreased deaths, crime, would have been more beneficial towards blacks because it would not have caused a the crushing poverty that the failure of the restoration era caused.
4. He said four, won't deny it, but he was basing it on a legitimate report released in the 90's. Don't like it, but
5. I agree. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 actually hurt blacks and worsened race relations. I don't see why you would consider this racist, it has nothing to do with hating blacks, just with believing that this was not a good way to solve the issues.
6. Statistically this is true, because of ...

6. Statistically this is true, because of poverty rates among blacks. Statements of fact are not racist, and if I remember correctly, this is from a set of papers that were allegedly written by him, but that when CNN obtained them, no evidence was found to have been by him.
7. How is this racist? the double negative (wouldn't/against) means he would have voted against them, so that is the exact opposite of racism... Is all of this a joke?
8. Um, this is true. No matter where your politics lay, only 5 percent of Blacks support the free market, the end of welfare an affirmative action or individual liberty. That is found in every poll. Because he believes in those, he says they are the only sensible political opinions, so there is no racism here.
9.Um, Christopher Columbus. And, as a part of my job, I frequently deal with college students from other countries (I am an RA at my university) and I have found that they do tend to follow their own laws over ours, just as our immigrants to other countries have that tendency.
10. There is no such thing as a hate crime, or rather, that is the only kind of violent crime (apart from insanity) there is. You don't kill someone you don't hate, unless you are insane. Dividing crime into either white on black or normal crime (which is essentially what the hate designation does) is actually more racist than that term. But, you know, don't let logic get in your way Che. After all, he didn't consider killing thousands of people crime either.
Um, and your side has no room to talk. Senator Byrd ( I hate bringing him up in light of his unfortunate passing, but the point remains), Harry Reid, the civil war, the KKK, Jim Crow, Black panthers (the original, the new one isn't racist) I can go on.
Anyone that spent the time to actually read your post alone would have been enough to see it was you that meter was detecting. Now, if they had looked up the facts, they would be laughing at your crazy ass.
Using these quotes to say he is racist is like if I used Obama saying in an interview "my Muslim faith" as proof that he was a Muslim. Ignorant, farcical, and a lie. Come on Che, your bigger than this.

A. There is no proof Ron Paul wrote any of it
B. Ron Paul clearly doesn't agree with these claims
Or this one, which suggests it was in fact written by Llewellyn Rockfeller, Jr.

Next time, before you and Che go around slandering people, try doing maybe three minutes of research outside of liberal propaganda sites, and you might see the truth.

These stories may be very old in Ron Paul's life, but they're very new to the American public and they deserve to be totally ventilated," said David Gergen, a CNN senior political analyst. In 1992, the newsletter published a bunch of inflammatory comments on racial subjects, listed in the Quotes section of this page. Pretty raw stuff.
In 2001, as Paul moved to the mainstream and rejoined the Republican party, he disavowed these comments and blamed them on an unnamed ghostwriter. But when Paul ran for Congress in 1996, as a Libertarian, his opponent brought these up to show that Paul had fringe ideas. At that time, Paul told the Houston Chronicle that he opposed racism and his commentaries about blacks came in the context of "current events and statistical reports of the time." In other words, he didn't deny writing the Ron Paul column in the Ron Paul newsletter, profits of which go to Ron Paul, until many years later. Then he claimed that his campaign aides thought it would be "too confusing" to tell the truth, so he had to lie and accept responsibility.
Whichever story is true, he's clearly responsible for the contents of that newsletter and pretty squirrelly about the whole thing.

"Newsletter excerpts offer ammunition to Paul's opponent ", by Alan Bernstein, Houston Chronicle, May 23, 2006
"Ron Paul Race Smear Erased?", Free Market News, May 22, 2007. I have no idea if this is a credible source-- the piece is obviously slanted in a very pro-Ron-Paul way -- but the quotes are still interesting. Take it with a grain of salt.
ron paul needlin
In this story Ron Paul writes about “needlin” and blames packs of young black girls for spreading AIDS to white women. I could find no evidence of this “epidemic” and the article seems to have no point other than to make white people scared of Black people.
Ron Paul MLK
In this piece he criticizes Martin Luther King as a pro-communist philanderer and says the MLK holiday is “Hate Whitey Day.” This is in great contrast to 2008 when he told Wolf Blitzer that Martin Luther King was one of his heroes. When activists suggested naming a city after Martin Luther King Paul suggested other names such as “Welfaria,” “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” ...

In another piece he blamed Black people for the riots that happened in Chicago in 1992 after the Bulls won the NBA Championship
basket ball riots
Paul here is using false information to attack African Americans. The Washington Post reported that 1000 people were arrested but did not indicate their race. The riot, like most sports riots was multi-racial, including Blacks, white and Latinos, yet Paul used the incident to demonize African Americans. The Washington Post also reported that two officers suffered minor gunshot wounds and that 95 were injured in total, but the way Paul phrased it, it would seem most of the 95 officers injured were shot.
ron paul blast em
In this article Paul uses the “carjacking” epidemic to put fear into white people. He advises them to carry guns and shoot “carjackers” illegally and then dispose of their weapons. He also refers Black people as “animals” and directly refers to his home town of Lake Jackson, Texas.
The newsletters also contained the quotes:
opinion polls consistently show only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions
if you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be,
This is only the first skirmish in the race war of the 1990s
Here are some of the newsletters I could find. They also contain a good deal of homophobic and Black Helicopter, New World Order conspiracy theories and warnings of upcoming in “race wars.”
