Ron Paul is the most sane person in Washington bar none. Most people have a problem with his foreign policy stance. But his foreign policy is the policy the founders intended and it is by no means weak. If anything our current poilcy is weak because it spreads our military around the world creating enemies at every port. A Paul Presidency would protect the US not evry other country in the world. Any war in a Paul Presidency would be a Constitutionally Declared War by the Congress and all US resources would be accessed to fight and win it against a well defined enemy not some police action around hundreds of countries around the world on the direction of NATO or the UN.

    Definitely!

    He…:
    Is HONEST!!!
Has the country’s best interest at heart (and not what’s best for his own career).
Has no interest in lining his own pockets, or the pockets of friends and family.
Has no skeletons in his closet.
Only one brave enough to go toe to toe and expose the corrupt politicians in Washington.
Has a firm grasp of economics.
Doesn’t flip flop or sit on the fence waiting to see which direction the wind is going to blow.
    Mastered the art of diplomacy.
And is dignified human being and not a “Televangelist Politician”

I feel that he's a weak candidate and not one that's viable in the long run. I have had more than enough debates with Paul supporters so of course you'll respect that I am choosing to ignore this poll after I press "add comment". Thanks.

More proof that the American electorate is the biggest threat to FREEDOM that this country faces. Since when does following the founding document of this country make you "weak"

I find most people that don't agree with Ron Paul use the EXCUSE of his supporters because they lack any basis in fact to support their position or they are too weak to live with FREEDOM.

haha! yes, I had to fill out the paper for the first time ever. I guess labels don't mean anything more now than they did before I had to pick one; but I did clarify somewhat, trying to make up for the backazzwards mangling of our language and history, which over the course of many decades, has rendered all politically labeled talk subjective, and only as vacuous as the politicos whose mouths are moving at the moment. So, for this election cycle I am a RinoSP -- Republican in name only Supporting Paul.

I've said it before and I will say it again, he is the only solution for our current crisis. If someone else were to step up and handle business like Dr Paul does, then maybe we would have a second candidate. However there is no one. So, in my eyes, which are wide open to the lies and corruption of our current politicians, ( especially Barry and the democrats) I can see no other person to take the reigns. If you're intelligent and you know vote Ron Paul.

Nobody. The whole thing is rigged. All of it. Ron Paul is the only one who doesn't operate within the grid of politics as usual. Whatever it is that runs this country (and we know that isn't a president) wouldn't allow his common sense approach to rule over this land. This country has become a land of bribes and lies and he he won't play thier game. The sad truth is, whoever we get will just be an employee of a much greater machine. I hate to say it, but the word freedom, to me, now means money.

Sadly Ben you are probably closer to the reality of what this republic has become than most would give you credit for. The same banksters that control the media in this country also control the puppet politicians and fund the wars. It's a proven fact most of these politicos are members of organizations like the CFR & The Builderberg Group. Take 10 minutes and watch this video, it will give some great incite as to what does control policy around the world not just here.

You are correct a Ron Paul presidency is a threat to all of the bias and corruption in the media and Washington because Ron Paul transcends party lines. He isn't the cartoonish version of his party like most of the other candidates and he refuses to tow the political line. He is, therefore, a threat to the partisan "Democrats VS. Republicans" politics upon which Washington and most of the media literally thrives.

Not really. I have been asking Paul supporters to elaborate on what positive policies he's constructed- but so far only receive long lists of what he wants to eliminate.

There seems to be no real constructive ideas or policy anyone can point to.
"Returning to the Constitution" seems to be the answer everyone gives- but what does that mean?
Return to the Constitution sans amendments?

It mostly seems like a move towards empowering corporations.

You need to research all the candidates yourself. and then choose for yourself.
and "Returning to the Constitution" means less power to the government. the US is not suppose to be the dictators of the world. there not suppose to be our mommy's and daddy's and take our right to choose away.
I support Ron Paul because he has had the same views for 30 years and I know what he can and cannot do as president. The majority of things needs congress and none of the candidates can get obama-care repealed without congress backing them. Ron Paul is not going to end the fed, but he can audit them. there is one important thing that don't need congress and Ron Paul is the ONLY ONE that will do this one thing, the very same thing I voted for obama for but he lied about it. "BRING ALL THE TROOPS HOME". end these unconstitutional wars. the US would save millions if the wars was completely ended. but this is my reason, you need to choose for yourself. if you choose one of the others I wish you luck on your candidate. and hope that your choice will do what you hope he will do. that is all any one can do is hope a president will do the right thing.

Our government hasn't operated for it's intended purpose for a very, very long time. If it did, we wouldn't be needing a man like Ron Paul.

Just for clarity: The purpose of government is to protect the rights of the people. When was the last time our federal government did anything of the sort?

He doesn't love this country. He essentially admitted he would take corporate bribes... the exact crony capitalist corruption we are trying to alleviate from.

"The idea that a congressman would be tainted by accepting
money from private industry or private sources is essentially
    a socialist argument." -Newt Gingrich

He also has strange views of women...

"If combat means living in a ditch, females have biological
problems staying in a ditch for thirty days because they
get infections and they don't have upper body strength."

and strange views of men as well....

"men are basically little piglets, you drop them in the ditch,
they roll around in it, doesn't matter, you know."

:/ I'm sorry, he's just not Presidential material... a President can't look at his fellow countrymen like they are "little piglets".
