No, I do not support Mitt Romney for President. He's a flagrant and constant liar, a constant flip-flopper with no principles who will say anything he thinks his audience wants to hear. He's a documented bully and animal abuser, has an arrest record, is completely out of touch with common American Citizens, was a poor governor, and has surrounded himself with all the same people Bush did, and advocates all the same Bush policies that lead us directly into the Fiscal Collapse of 2008 and subsequent recession. His budgetary promises would add TRILLIONS to the national debt, and he has no plans to pay for any of it. It would be a very, VERY bad thing for this country if he were elected President.

Trying to win voters is not profiling; it's what all politicans do. He did not change his personal stance, he just revealed it publically.

No. Romney can and does do the same. I have no problem with his methods. He tries to appeal to his base. That's what politicians do.

I have no interest in voting for any Rep this time around. I am sick to death of the pompous attitudes and the pandering to big business and the wealthy. The idea that giving tax breaks to business without them showing good faith towards American workers is ludicrous. I don't see one of them without a hand in our pockets.

The Reps did everything they could to stonewall anything Pres Obama tried to put into place. Yet he kept working on it. He has a handle on the problems of the middle class and low income people of this country so as far as I'm concerned I am sticking with the Pres.

Mitt was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has never been able to connect with the guy that scratches out a living for his/her family. I am not going to give these guys a chance to become richer on my pocketbook.

So you slept through the last couple years??? No he did not get and still has not gotten his proposals. Yes... the Reps used every trick in the book to drag us into losing our triple A credit rating.. They went on vac before they rein acted the airport tax which cost us millions daily. They refuse to raise taxes on the rich and big business but continue to put the tax burden on the middle class.

I don't know where you have been but I've been sitting here listening to all the baloney the Rep throw. He asked for insider trading to be against the law for any politician is one of the bills the Pres asked to come across his desk...did it?? NOT one Rep was on board with it. I could sit here and talk about many subjects that the Reps have shot down. So yes they have stonewalled the Pres on every turn!!l

I am an optimist and believe that it will be no comparison with a current President performance. Gov. Romney is a very smart, an experiance patriot of this country,he is a titan in his wish to help each and every family in America, unite our country and improve her prestige on international level.

Oh, woe is us. As an old republican I feared the day our very party would begin eating itself. Now, here it is. A mormon. An all out liar (Gingrich,Santorum,Cain, Bachman, Perry, Paul all described his as such.....)You can't trust him. Even our ads are not honest. The Super Pac's own us. Woe is us. I can't do it. I'll vote for the last night not funded by the SuperPacs....Ron Paul. It's our only hope to regain sanity. A businessman? Gee, I know very successful businessmen who deal in drugs and illgotten gains. That "businessman" tag doesn't mean much, really.

How do you know he doesn't push it? I'm a Xmormon. I know the underbelly. As for "Liar", those are the words of every republican candidate in the last presidential debates. Romneys been bought and paid for by the SuperPacs, I'm not letting no damn rich guy, selling drugs( His dad went to Mexico for a reason. Drugs?) and illegal guns, tell me who my presidential choice is gonna be. I vote for Paul. Unfair? What's unfair is the choices I had for republican candidate. Don't tell me it's unfair to dislike a liar and swindler and sneak.

He keeps his religion out of the public arena. As far as having a hidden agenda, Romney is not a true conservative, but bows to pressure from the right that exists within the Republican party today and is a self destructive force. You describe yourself as an ex-Mormon. I', glad you got free of their conformity and intolerance. Now get free of Republicanism. The same goes for them.

Being a Eisenhower republican is more of a family tradition. Since the democrats don't seem to have the backbone to use their clout I'm stuck in the middle between that and a bunch of brainwashed( Mcconnel), whining(Bohner), excuse ridden children with A.D.D.( Cantor) who accept the fact they've have been handed the worst presidential choices for the worst economic times since the Great Depression. That isn't cool. It lacks of intellect and wreaks of no imagination other than rigging the vote and accepting a corrupt Supreme Court who allowed corporations to be called people and money to be called "speech". I'm old but I'm not that old to forget that I'm an American first. And 2001, and 2006-2008 I saw the corruption for myself. I am not blind.

I agree with you about Ike. He was a fine President. He represented small business and he was a military man who opposed the military industrial complex. Too bad the Republican party has lost it's way. Now they represent only the rich, but still enjoy support from average people who do not benefit financially from their policies, but don't realize. since you really seem like an independent, I urge you to reconsider Obama. He is a real gentleman, killer of terrorist and the toughest commander-in-chief since Roosevelt.

I would like to see the kid show some balls. I might get a kick out of seeing those damn democrats act like leaders and use their clout too. An old friend of mine (republican) were just laughing that if Hillary Clinton would have been elected she would have put those whiney Bohner,McConnel and Cantor on the chopping block. And then, maybe, the old folks wouldn't have to worry about their pensions, police, firemen, teachers, or otherwise. Nor worry about what these slimey snakes and the social security tills. I figure these rich-guys now have more money than they or their grandchildren could ever spend so they should pay some normal taxes. Afterall, a 3% tax rate is bs. Look at what that sneaky Romney paid on American taxes...Eisenhower built a complete country on higher taxes than that. Where are my intelligent republicans? Are they all bought up by these pathetic drug dealer businessmen we call SuperPacs?

Did you see where Apple Computers makes 57 cents "profit" off of every dollar? They could move back to the United States and could make 52 cents on every dollar and be an American company, putting Americans to work for a 5cent loss in profit. What's wrong with these Americans? Instead they want to help out our arch enemies the COMMUNIST RED CHINESE? What, capitalism isn't as good as communism when it comes to making money. See what I mean?

You and I can't change Apple's profit motive, all we can give them an 8 cent tax incentive. Then they'll come back. If you do that, you'll be borrowing a plank from Obama's platform. All he needs is a little cooperation from congress.

I agree. I have read where the Bush tax cuts to the rich was suppose to start up new jobs since 2002. The GAO reports the same amount of jobs now as it was in 2002. They didn't do nothing but accumulate wealth that is intended for America. For those freaks that want a "businessman" to run America like a business, it isn't very business like to operate in that manner. Congress needs to impose the same tax as the Eisenhower years. Let the crooks drop-out. Close the loopholes. Rebuild our infrastructure, especially our electrical grid which is doomed to fail within 1500 days. And get this country back on it's feet. Although I'm republican I really can't stand Boehner, McConnel, Cantor and Pelosi. They are all the kids who whined so much and the ones you wanted to punch in the hallway because you didn't like the way they look. You're right. My party is stopping America because we were bought out by the SuperPacs. We are not the respectable group we once were. Go Ron Paul.
  • Uncle S... mind-pilot 2012/06/18 03:39:25
    Uncle Steve
Certainly Ron Paul is honorable and there are some things that are attractive about Libertarianism, but it's a little out of touch with reality. I'll give you an example. Ron Paul was interviewed on Fox by Chris Wallace and Wallace brought up the fact that Ron Paul regrets the Civil Rights Act of 1965. why? Because we have property rights. Wallace asks "suppose I am a restaurant owner and I see a nicely behaved black family in my restaurant. Should I be able to just go up to them and throw them out?" Ron Paul: "It would be immoral, but yes it's your property so you should have the right." Wallace: "Do i hear your right? In your book, property rights trump human rights." I agree that there is plenty of baggage on the liberal side. I, for example, hate political correctness with a passion. But on the whole, I think Democrats have done more for the country. Obama, for example, has had something of a mixed domestic record. But I think you'll have to agree he is one hell of a terrorist killer and Commander-in-Chief.
  • mind-pilot Uncle S... 2012/06/18 15:13:06
    mind-pilot
Yeah, his command is extinguishing the terrorists. You gotta hand it to him for that. Bush, said, he really didn't care anymore. All my party has done was "whine" about the terrorist killings. That makes me suspicious of their motives. And, they block all of the "jobs programs" with more pork.

Then tax the rich. It's the business of America. Hey, do what Romney does, change the words, don't tax the rich, charge them "fees". He raised fee's of $750million in Mass. And it still wasn't enough. Besides, they have more money than their great grandkids can spend. Tax 'em.
