I also think it's a good general principle to reduce the amount of sewage, trash, etc., that ends up in the water from which we drink and eat fish... because I personally would really rather not be literally eating or drinking the litterbox feces from anyone else's pets...
Waste can be limited, it can not be stopped. Same applies for politants
