The quote of Romans 15:27 is a misquote and twisting of scripture I've seen before, coming from the mouth of the false teacher John Hagee. Look at the context of the written word and it is unmistakable that a person attempting to claim that has anything to do with supporting the State of "Israel" is obviously lying on purpose or at the very least shouldn't be leading the flock anywhere. This is not an exhortation to support any state of "Israel" in the Middle East. It's really sad. If anything this scripture should be used to encourage believers to help their brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted and killed around the world, but instead false teachers have twisted it.

I never really understood how some "Christians" could attack the Arab people for their false religion, while overlooking the false religion of the "Jews". I then had some questions popping up as I continued to hear contradictory claims in church about the State of "Israel" and what is known as dual covenant theology when compared to scripture. I then saw an advertisement of John Hagee's where he stated Jesus didn't come to be the Messiah, and statements that were opposite of what the Bible said in plain, obvious text and the point clearly made. I had already been studying the subject quite a bit, pouring over the subject, wondering how Christians in "Palestinian territories", Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and so forth were being endangered by the undying devotion being shown by the U.S. churches toward the State of "Israel". I've come to the point that if someone honestly studies it out, they can't support the State of "Israel" if they're a Christian, and only continue to do so because of tradition, and tradition being taught as doctrine is spoken out against in the Bible too. I think people also confuse the children of Israel with the modern State of "Israel", and they are not the same. Counterfeits are the Devil's play thing.

"30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."
To this day they stumble but some attempt to remove the block by saying they don't need Jesus to be saved because of their race or heritage, which is a doctrine of antichrist.
The quote of Romans 15:27 is a misquote and twisting of scripture I've seen before, coming from the mouth of the false teacher John Hagee. Look at the context of the written word and it is unmistakable that a person attempting to claim that has anything to do with supporting the State of "Israel" is obviously lying on purpose or at the very least shouldn't be leading the flock anywhere.
Romans 15:26-27-
"26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things."
This is in reference to -SAINTS- which are believers in Jesus, and the fact that the growth of the Church began in Jerusalem and spread from there. The believers in Rome were more wealthy or had more carnal possessions and were being told they should share with fellow believers who were less fortunate in Jerusalem. This is not an exhortation to support any state of "Israel" in the Middle East. It's really sad. If anything this scripture should be used to encourage believers to help their brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted and killed around the world, but instead false teachers have twisted it.
7. Again this has nothing to do with the State of "Israel", but is talking about the mercy God shows toward the children of Israel because of the forefathers, and is long-suffering toward them so that a remnant will have faith and be saved in Jesus Christ. Supporting that State and encouraging an arrogant racist belief that they are somehow Chosen because of their race or heritage is actually doing the opposite of what the Church was told to do. You can not encourage repentance and preach the Gospel to a people you've told are already chosen just because of their human qualities.
I would continue if you'd like, if you even care about any of this, as it so often seems that people post stuff to "win" an argument. I wouldn't spend the time typing this out if I didn't care or if I didn't believe it was important.
