Do You Research Before Answering Questions?

ServantOfAllah 2012/06/14 16:10:47
Yes, I often research questions before answering, especially if the story sounds fishy!
No, I trust people to do the research for me so I can just start hating on the victim of our lies and ignorance!

Do you research questions before answering or just talk out of your butt? For instance I saw an ignorant blog, not on SH of course, about a Muslim gas station attendant not serving a soldier, so I took one minute to look it up and found that, BEFORE THE BLOG WAS EVEN WRITTEN the whole thing was declared a misunderstanding and the lead protester said he was going home and asked the others to go home too, yet EVERY SINGLE RACIST HICKWAD MORON that answered that stupid blog was all up in arms, calling the store owner names, talking about burning down the store, about a lynching, hating on Muslims, and so many horrible stupid things, that I was left to wonder what kind of country I live in. These idiots are ANIMALS! They are HATEFUL, STUPID, IGNORANT, AND DISGUSTING!

To top it all off the blogger said, 4 hours or more later, that it had been worked out, as if it was new news. Again, the misunderstanding was already over before the original blog had even been written, DERP DERP!! Anyone with a brain would have known already, but as I said, not ONE of these backwater racist haters had the good sense to do one bit of research before opening their hate holes.

Are you one of these retarded sheeple idiots, or do you take a minute to find out about something before opening your mouth?

Bonus, watch the hicks on the video, running down there to hate people over a misunderstanding and see what's WRONG with America today. :(

Yes. But hell, here on SH, it sometimes doesn't make any difference researching and presenting facts because people would rather believe a lie than to accept the truth.

she shouldn't. she's whining about some other subject on this blog as if that makes the one i am discussing any less pathetic. "They did it too" is not an excuse, it's a child's way of trying to avoid blame for their own issues. Nice try though.

I'm certainly not saying that Non-Muslim Americans should instantly believe negative things about Muslim Americans. I'm am stating that for you to consistantly decry all protests by Americans when Muslims have been falsely accused, and ignore the fact that it frequently happens that Non-Muslim Americans get accused of things that they haven't done.

And by the way, this isn't about the event that happened. I didn't start out answering the poll. I did however respond to you and your statement about not blocking people.

This is about you. And your inconsistancies. This is about you bragging about never blocking people, and then turning around and stating that you hope certain SH members get blocked for life, because of a belief that they hold. That is inconsistant, which is another word for a hypocrite.

    Matthew 7:4-5
4 How can you think of saying to your friend,[a] ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.

Not sure what my answer has to do with blocking. I figure if you are on this or any other site you should not be blocking otherwise why be on the site at all! It makes you look like a fundamentalist or extremist in that you like to express your opinion but will not even listen to other opinions!

i mean when you have a group of morons, they need someone with the ability to think and reason to set them straight, but on a blocked blog that can't happen. everyone who has a brain cell has been locked out of the conversation. that's why you'll see some blogs where EVERY SINGLE ANSWER is wrong.

People have to remember that SodaHead is an "opinion" site...(SodaHead's tagline... "Opinions...Everybody's Got One™) and that implies anyone who comments here doesn't have to know a damn thing about anything...sort of like FoxNews.

And remember this, too..."there is no right or wrong, only opinion."

So don't take this site too seriously...even if you do have brains, you're always going to run up against someone who doesn't, so it was a waste of time from the start.

When someone makes a false declarative statement, it goes beyond "opinion" into deception. I posted example of deceptive Sodaheadlines above. If, on the other hand, they say "I believe . . .", then they may voice any outlandish claim with impunity.

Many people don't know they're making a false statement...for some, it's something they've "known" all their lives as being true.

It would be nice, and helpful, if people spent a little more time doing the minimum in the area of research, but I don't expect it.

SodaHead isn't exactly a "think tank," is it...

And we are right back to the question of researching before making a statement or accusation. If we all stopped taking what we grew up with as absolute fact then we get closer to the truth and contentment.

When I don't research it's because I already have a vast amount of useless info. tucked away in my brain not to mention I've been graced with an abundant amount of common sense unlike some people on here that would refer to others as "RACIST HICKWAD MORONS etc. etc. etc."

You do realize that you look just as hateful as the people you are chastising.
