Between an expensive stimulus package and questionable appointees, President Barack Obama may have kept the nation divided in controversy rather than uniting it. Now that the Obama has been in the office long enough to make some real changes, do you have any second thoughts about how you voted in the Presidential election?

Voting for Obama was to me summed up by the South Park Episode where it's always between a giant douche and a turd sandwich. There were no candidates I really liked a lot, I felt he was the lessor of two evils.

I'm more concerned about the Tea Party as a hate group out to destroy everyone who disagrees with them - and a complete lack of negotiation ability when raising the dept ceiling.
Many of our tax issues are not new, but Obama has made an excellent target.

Ultimately it's already the tax payer who will carry the burden, maybe not monetarily but many beneficial programs will be cut. I'm already seeing devastating cuts in education..... The FAA, Someone explain to me how that is supposed to help? Lets have dumber kids and let airplanes collide in mid-air. I'm not convinced that's worth saving so much money a year in taxes.
The Tea party made it clear they don't want to play nice or civil with anyone else; no one is going to be happy right now.

The short shortsightedness is amazing. No matter what, I think those of us who aren't millionaires are going to get a raw deal not matter what.

  • Larry777 Jedmun 2011/11/13 03:55:24
better than Ron Paul or Rick Perry. Both of these men no nothing about the economy and would end up messing up this debt issue even more than Obama.
  • Jedmun Larry777 2011/11/15 03:24:12
Here in reality on Planet Earth,,,every single one of the folks running against Obama is by far better then Obama,,,good gawd thats not even a Debate anymore,,,and Paul or Perry spends as stupidly or largely as Obama does
  • Larry777 Jedmun 2012/02/10 05:48:08
The Rinos would spend more on our military than Obama has spent in total.
  • Jedmun Larry777 2012/02/10 21:18:06
Earth to Nuke? You have any idea how stupid what you just said is?
  • Larry777 Jedmun 2012/02/11 18:16:51
We already have enough Nukes, we don't need more of them, or more tanks. Just a complete waste of money. Unless we plan to conquest North America, non of that stuff will be needed. Idiot Mitt Romney wants to double the size of our military and half that of social security. Social Security is way more important.
  • Jedmun Larry777 2012/02/11 18:24:44
Idiot Barackalipse Now Oblamer is out to 'OutSource' all of Americas wealth to make it all fair and even Globally, when he says he has created jobs, is right! For everyone but the USA! He has also done everything possible to destroy the Constitution, Removing Obama first and foremost is the first Correct step we can take, if we don't, in 4 years Obama will plunge the USA into a deep depression and he will have only one solution for it ' Euro/Socialism' in a 'New World Order' Obama is Dismanteling the USA anyone with working eyes and ears can see that
  • Larry777 Jedmun 2012/02/11 18:35:44
Euro socialism might work for now because our Capitalist, Corporatist country is sinking because of the Banks.
  • Jedmun Larry777 2012/02/11 19:03:40
It won't work at all, its failing in Europe as we speak, and we are sinking now for a few reasons,
    1. We Socialised our Banks and allowed anyone access to Money that could not be re-paid
    2. We have been turning our Country more and more Euro/Socialist by the year which is inferior to Capitolism and Unsustainible
    3. The Fed has beem pumping Trillions into the European Union to create the illusion that it was infact working all along,

Only Answer is Reject all Un-Constitutional Laws and Policies
De-fund the centralised Fed Government and return powers to the States as was the original intent
Teach self reliance as opposed to Governement Dependence and challenge this Unsustainible Euro/Socialist Entitlement State
  • Larry777 Jedmun 2012/02/14 02:15:42
Mixed economy would work well, maybe not so much for Euro-Socialism. China is booming and it is a mixed economy.
  • Jedmun Larry777 2012/02/14 02:59:41 (edited)
China is Booming becuase they are a virgin country for Capitolism for one, second Barackalipse Now Oblamer is creating more opportunity for them by squashing Industry here and outsourcing jobs there that should be here, we could swat them out in 5-8 years with the right policies
  • Larry777 Jedmun 2012/02/17 22:02:55
    Communism works apparently
  • Jedmun Larry777 2012/02/17 22:08:15
You clearly have a hearing and eyesight problem,,,The USA is being run by a DOLT! If the USA were unleashed and returned to her Original Capitolists roots instead of the failed Euro/Socialists morph Barackalipse Now Oblamer is inflicting apon us, China couldn't even keep up enough eat our dust!
  • Larry777 Jedmun 2012/02/17 22:16:00
China passed the US in the Bush years
  • Jedmun Larry777 2012/02/17 23:33:20
China not passed us yet! but they are projected to do so with 5 years on current projections, that was 20 years out during Bush Barackalipse Now Oblamer has sped up that process
  • Larry777 Jedmun 2012/04/24 20:50:20
China has greater GDP, and we owe them money. They have passed us.
  • Jedmun Larry777 2012/04/25 23:29:34
well,, they may or may not have,,, but sure as hell ain't becuase Communism works ~laughs!~ in fact the socialistic we have become the slower and weaker our economy is, The Chinese may have caught up, but that due to less communism on their part and more of it on ours
  • duncan ... Larry777 2012/08/26 13:07:21

China does not have a greater GDP than the US.. We are 1/4 of the global economy (geez get your facts straight)

US GDP 15.8 Trillion. (and stagnant right now)
China GDP 7.2 (the real threat is it is growing faster, double digits) but you also have to understand that China having a GDP of 15.8 billion does not give then the same spending power as the us...

1 - They put about 30% of it into there defense budget because they are a paranoid nation, a reminiscence of the post cold war era. (and a need to feel dominant, hatred towards the west, even though they need our markets to survive)
2 - 15.8 Trillion in the US is the GDP for a nation of 308 million, china has 1 Billion more people... For there economy to be comparable, it would need to be more like 75 Trillion, This is probably a few hundred years away...

I didn't vote for Barack Obama.
I didn't vote for the man. The big question is Who will vote for him in round 2? Another question is those that would vote for him and those that did vote for him. If voting for him would mean financially supporting his idea's How many would actually write the check Pay to the order of President Obamma.

I didn't vote for Barack Obama.
I wasn't excited about John McCain, but it really did seem to me Barack Obama's lack of taking positions as a IL senator just didn't seem exactly very mature either.
  • RachelLord 2010/10/22 02:12:37
I didn't vote for Barack Obama.
I didn't know anything about him, so I didn't vote for him. The chanting was really weird, the lack of a message was disconcerting. Seemed like the more I tried to find out about him, the less I knew.
