The attacks of September 11, 2001...
and the natural disaster of Katrina in 2005,
the stock market crashed to the low 8,000's.
But under a Republican Congress and a Republican President, the economy rallied to just under 13,000 at the end of 2006,
and continued to an all-time record high of 14,200 in Oct. 2007.
According to AAA, gas was selling as low as $1.99 a gallon in some parts of the country in early 2006...
The national unemployment rate was at an inconceivable 4.6% in 2006.
Yet somehow the American voters were convinced that the Bush administration was evil..
and the Democratic controlled Congress CHOSE to DEMAND his IMPEACHMENT...
