Actually, I prefer illegal alien. The word Immigrant implies some sort of intent to migrate permanently to another country and detracts from the actual act of being in our country illegally.

They are here illegally; therefore they are illegal. I'm not understanding why that is so hard for some of our SH Libtards to understand.

Because they have clearly broken the law by sneaking into the country and they are not all working, therefore "illegal immigrant" describes them all whereas "undocumented worker" DOES NOT!

They are immigrants and are here illegally. Liberals use this PC crap to try to water down terms so they don't elicit emotion. Calling them undocumented workers is like calling:

A bank robbery an "undocumented withdrawal."
    A rape an "unauthorized deposit."
A drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist."

Thanks Mr. Smith. Let me remind you that there are many drug dealers who are dealing legal rx pain medications (vicodin) w/out a license and thus fit the last term provided. In that case the only difference is the state pharm license :-)

I understand your point. But whether they are dealing meth or vicodin, they are still a drug dealer in my opinion. Whether the drug itself is legal or illegal, makes no difference, without proper license they can still hurt people with vicodin.

I prefer the term ILLEGAL ALIEN.

"Illegal immigrant" implies that they immigrated to this country to become Americans which they seem not willing to do as evidenced by these demonstrations.

illegal alien demonstrations with mexican flags

"Undocumented workers" implies that they are here to work. If they were truly workers, they would be here earning a paycheck and paying taxes and helping to build the economy. While some work, it appears that most of the ones I see "pretend to work" while employers "pretend to pay them" as they milk the welfare and food stamps system.

    illegal aliens in welfare office

"Illegal" Alien is the only proper term as they are here illegally and they are Aliens to our country with no intention of making a better life for themselves beyond milking our Department of Human Services Systems. Identify them for what they REALLY ARE.

Who gives a fat rat's ass about political correctness? Not me, that's for sure. They entered the country illegally, they're illegal immigrants. They should be treated as criminals because they are criminals. There really isn't much more that can be truthfully said on that.

Now you can talk about increasing numbers and the way folks are allowed into this country, and change the laws accordingly. But when those new laws are changed and then violated, those that are here in contradiction to our laws will STILL be illegal immigrants. The other issue is assuming they are all coming here to work and be productive citizens. Not a safe bet these days.

I agree. I wonder how many people who are offended by the term "illegal" would be singing a different tune of a family just showed up and moved into their home one day without permission and expected them to feed them, cloth them, pay their medical bills, educated them while getting nothing in return except complaints that they didn't like the way their house was set up, the language they spoke, etc.

Illegal is the only word to express the term for those who willfully violate our sovereign laws. They illegally enter the US and then want the name of their status changed. I don't think so!

Not "illegal immigrant". Proper term is "illegal alien". "Undocumented worker" is nothing more than PC talk to make him sound legal, which he isn't, or more respectable, which he isn't - he's a criminal.

    ILLEGAL Alien.. period ..

there was the definite intent .. and actions .. when they came across the border ILLEGALLY .. criminally entered without even a thought of actually entering the nation legally ..
Given the sacrifices that were made .. by those such as my own Grandparents to enter the USA LEGALLY .. this is a SLAP on the FACE to them .. a true insult to all the LEGAL immigrants .. who did come here with the clear intent of working hard and providing for themselves and becoming CITIZENS ..
Lest we forget .. there's many other nations around the world .. where if you illegally cross their borders .. you are caught .. there's a death sentence imposed and carried out ..
