I guess in Cleveland, Ohio you do. Is there any other cities or states you know of that require a hunting license to catch mice.

Not sure how the rest of the world deals with rodents, i think the whole plague thing probably put the mouse hunting license people out of business.

Or maybe they want them alive for experiments.
It's also against the law to kill a housefly within 160 feet of a church without a licence.
And in Marion, Ohio You cannot eat a doughnut and walk backwards on a city street.

Too bad for you and the people living in your state:
In Florida, It is illegal to fart in a public place after 6:00pm on a Thursday. Hahaha
& It is illegal for a woman to bungie jump naked on Sunday before midday.
It is illegal to have sexual intercourse with a porcupine. WTHeck?!
Men may not be seen publicly in any kind of strapless gown.

In Washington state you can hunt varmint year round without a license.
However, if I had a pest problem in the house, I would use a humane trap.

Not in Oregon. But warning to anyone thinking about coming here, you DO need a permit to catch racoons. Even then, you are not allowed to kill them, just trap them and set them loose somewhere else.

What kind of snake do you have. I LIKE snakes and think they're cool though I would never be able to keep one as a pet due to other circumstances as I already have a dog and a paranoid mother!!! My husband does not like snakes but my kisd think they're cool and can name all the snakes in their reptile book and they're only 5 and 7 years old.
  • woo artist1... 2009/02/21 22:25:01 (edited)
    woo

I got my first snake around 3 years old. It was a bowa and it had a great temperament. My last snake was a ball python, I think he was the best. Bigger snakes are better at being lazy and laid back. All of my small snakes would strike out of nowhere. They are very easy to care for as far as cleaning after and feeding, it’s a once a week thing. A dog doesn’t really matter as a snake is in a tank for the most part. I do think though it is important to take them out in the grass and let them play in the tub. They like to swim, and the grass and sticks helps them to shed easier. They need exercise… but like I said they’re lazy! lol

What a pretty snake!!!!! The Emerald Tree Boa is my favorite as I love the richness of the green they are. DO they let people have THEM as pets or becaus they live in the trees, are they not a good candidate as a pet!!!! I've always found reptiles to be very interestng but my husband dos not like snakes while I'll pick them up and let them crawl on me and stuff. My kids like them too!!! pet ive reptiles interestng husband dos snakes ill crawl kids
