There are only two right answers from each of the three groups of answers to this question but I have multiple answers that are meant to throw people off to make sure that I can tell the difference between those who think they know what the foreskin is but do not and those who actually do know what the foreskin is.

The bank option for this poll was originally meant to be the "No I do not know what the foreskin is." option but I accidently made it a second option for "Yes it is a membrane that helps lubricate the penis and protects the head of the penis from the environment." and so then when I tride to edit it I found I could not and that is why it is now the blank option. it does not really do very much, but i still wouldnt get my son circumsized not unless he got an infection and needed it done.

Why wait until he could possibly get an infection to get it done. Don't you think that to have an infection down there would hurt especially when he would have to pee. I had my son circumsized at birth. It is so much easier for that part of the male body to keep clean, otherwise, they have to push back that flap of skin to clean underneath. Also my son when very young was playing outside sitting in the grass, with friends. Later that night we were rushing him to emergency from numerous chigger bites, along his private areas and I gave him childrens benadryl for the itching, wrong on my part, he was allergic to the benadryl, and we had no clue of his allergy to this. He was crying and in pain. So why wait until they an get infection. I'm glad i had it done then, instead waiting until he was 3 or 4 years old.

thats just unlucky !
i come from the uk and circumsision is not as widley done over hear as it is in the us. i can see ware you aare coming from but as long as proper hygien is taught from a young age i dont see why there will be a problem ?
pesonaly i dont no any one that has been, and when i have just given birth i dont want to have a baby screaming because his bellend is healing after being mutilaed.

You are not supposed to pool back the foreskin to clean it that it is a myth. The foreskin is attached untill later in life and pooling back the foreskin allows germs to get underneith the foreskin that would not otherwise get underneith it. Most foreskin infections are caused by the pooling back of the foreskin not the foreskin it self.
