At
this year’s Democrat National Convention, First Lady, Michelle Obama stood
before America and portrayed that she and her husband shared similar childhoods
by declaring they were “raised by
families who didn’t have much in the way of money or material possessions but
who had given us something far more valuable – their unconditional love, their
unflinching sacrifice, and the chance to go places they had never imagined for ourselves.”
“He was the guy whose proudest possession was a coffee table he’d found in a
dumpster, and whose only pair of decent shoes was a half six too small!”
Beyond these words,
very little information has been widely released about our Presidents childhood
other than what he declares was “evident” in his writings of his book, “Dreams From My Father.” However, information is now coming forward paints
a much different childhood then what the President or the 1st Lady seemingly
wishes us to know!
I
will make this a Multi-Part blog to discuss this rather long 30+ page report
just released. Part I will address this “Unfortunate Childhood” upbringing that
the President stated he HAD to overcome in his life. Would not most of us believe
“unfortunate” to mean “poor?” After all, his first car had “holes in the side”
where First Lady Michelle could “see the pavement through the door” as he drove
down the road. By his account, he grew up in a broken home
with a single mom, struggled for years as a child in impoverished Third World
countries before he was “sent off” and was raised by his grandparents in continued
“difficult” circumstances. Did he truly wish us to believe he was as “poor”
then too? For are we not led to believe that all along?
But now we have uncovered information that
his life may NOT have been so “unfortunate” as many who believe he endured
growing up in slums? When his mother
divorced his “already married” father, President Obama was but just a baby…. one
year old! But the Presidents’ mother,
Ann Dunham, did not remain a single lady for long. For just three years, 1967, Ann Dunham married
Lolo Soetoro and soon moved to Indonesia. Lolo was not a typical “poor”
tribesman, rather Lolo had Multi Million dollar family connections and now
little Barry Soetoro’s ‘new’ dad just landed a job as Government Relations
Officer of the Union Oil Company!
Soon Ann, Lolo and little Barry Soetoro moved
into the most exclusive neighborhood of Jakarta, where bureaucrats, diplomats
and the economic “elites” reside. A popular travel site describes this town,
Menteng, as: “Designed by the Dutch Colonial Government in 1920’s, Mentang
still retains its graceful existence with its beautiful parks, cozy street
cafes and luxurious housing complexes.” Does this sound like “Humble Beginnings?”
In Jakarta, Barrack attended two
schools. From ages 6 to 8 he attended a Catholic school, St. Francis then transferred
over to a Muslim dominated public school for his final one and ½ years in
Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world.
In 1971, Barry Soetoros’ mom and new dad were
having marital problems and perhaps Ann did not wish her son to be involved. Little
Barry was shipped off from the “elite” area of Jakarta to a “more elite” area
in the state of Hawaii. There, his grandmother, Madelyn, also known as, Toots,
had become the first female vice president of a Honolulu bank. Barracks’ grandparents
moved that same year into Punahou Circle Town Homes, a sleek new 10-story
apartment building just five blocks away from a private school where Barrack
would attend from 1971 to 1979. As President Obama explains in "Dreams
from My Father" to the “elites” living in that area… "the start of
something grand, an elevation in the family status that they took great pains
to let everyone know." He went on to describe his school as if it "had
grown into a prestigious prep school, an incubator for island elites. Its
reputation had helped sway my mother in her decision to send me back to the
States." The school still features a lush hillside campus overlooking the
Waikiki skyline and the Pacific Ocean. It was one of the most expensive schools
on the island.
He had all of this, yet we’re only told about
those ½ size too small tennis shoes, a dumpster dining room table and a car
that the First Lady says she could “see the pavement through.”

Romney will not only win the "Popular Vote" bey 6 to 8%, obama will indeed struggle to get more than 240 electoral votes. Of course, being in the "poor" state of Delaware, use to soicalism, you in the place you ought to be! :)
How sad, here is the President of the United States telling a group of Blacks at the NAACP convention how much we "Are our 'Brothers' Keeper!" Yet, his own brother lives in slums while he manages to play more than 110 rounds of golf, gives his wife 5-STAR luxury vacations and is buying a home in Hawaii for $35 MILLION! Yet brother George has to call a man who he just met, "You're like a brother to me!" :(

Something that unnerved me about the DNC Convention was how every speaker had to tell of how hard life had been for them. Guess they are all to young to use the long held standard, "I marched with Martin Luther". If all the democrats who have made that claim had actually been there, the March would have been a whole lot bigger.
I spent three long months putting that together on my lap top computer... I had 110 pages saved in a Word Document. LOST it all two weeks ago! :( Im sick about it! That's why Im doing this one instead.... but that study on the similarities... ESPECIALLY in growing up and the Govt takeover of Private business to each individual despising and mutual disrespect for their own mother, is so, so much in common!
