Do You Know How to Let 8 Republican Representatives Who Voted for Cap and Trade Know They're Idiots?

DavE June 27, 2009 06:50:47
They may not be your Republican Congressman, but you can still let them know they are traitors and idiots and you and your friends will do everything possible to see they never win another elected office. Most of their voicemail boxes are full the night of 6/26/09 so you can take your time and phone them next week.

Two Republican Congressmen were absent from the Cap+Trade voting 6/26/09.

1. Not Voting AZ-6 Flake, Jeff [R] Explanation from his website 6/26/09:
“The last thing a fragile economy needs is a new energy tax, yet that’s essentially what this cap and trade bill is,” said Flake. “This bill is more about generating revenue for the federal government than it is about addressing climate change.”
"Unfortunately, Congressman Flake was unable to vote on the bill due to a family obligation. Had he been able to vote today, he would have voted against it. Unless the bill is changed substantially, Congressman Flake will vote against the cap and trade conference report when it comes back to the House."
D.C. office (202) 225-2635 Mesa office (480) 833-0092
http://flake.house.gov/

2. Not Voting OK-1 Sullivan, John [R] No explanation from his website 6/26/09 but he did make this statement against Cap+Trade in May 09:
“What is being sold as a ‘green jobs bill’ is nothing more than a backdoor attempt to implement a massive national energy tax that will have a crushing impact on consumers, jobs, and our economy- while doing very little to protect the environment. The oil and gas industry employs 1.8 million people across the nation, and represents a large portion of the economy in my district - I will not stand by and watch these jobs be eliminated or shipped overseas."

Damn you turncoat SOB's. Your money is not worth my freedom. I am a veteran of the Korean War and find your ignorance of the science of climate, solar radiation, and the anomalies of the planet, indicative of your lack of intelligence. Have you ever thought of respecting the wishes of your constituants instead of lining your pockets with PAC money? Your kind must never go past the primary elections ever again.

A disgrace. I have and will continue to do all I can to let everyone of these 'jokes' know exactly who we know they are! We need to stand strong and let this anger, frustration and digust we feel, be known to each and every one of em! There is no excuse for this garbage in the next election! Get rid of them now! WE are citizens of the greatest land on all the earth and I'll continue to do what I do for the future of my child, our MIGHTY WARRIORS or any other PROUD AMERICAN!!

You're not going to let go of this issue Sharpster, and neither are we.
You know they're taking money for their vote, lots of $$$.
And these lying idiots like Mark Kirk [R] Illinois who says on his website he won't vote for the bill unless he reads it are scum. The Dems attached a 300 page amendment the day of the vote and no one had read that.

The trades made to buy the votes (212-219) are disgusting.

We must contact every Senator and voice our disgust. This bill must die in committee or be stripped until meaningless.

    This is tyranny.

Thanks for trying Bev. Yes, right now their voicemail is full and their email only works if the zip code entered is from their district, except for Bono who accepts all x's in the zip code.

I was able to send one to Bono. I am going to keep trying the phones next week when they go back to work. DId you go on the grading web site? Someone has it on here. I think everyone one of these people are graded with an F. It is very interesting. Wonder if they realize how low they are.

I've tried the gradegov.com website several times today but can't log on with my ID and p/w they emailed me. Even got them to send another p/w but still can't log on. Probably due to me restricting cookies at a level higher than they like. So I'm giving up on gradegov. But both my wife and I emailed our Senators (both D) today saying NO NO NO on Cap and Trade.

One of my Senators is on the F list and that was not a surprise. I email them and they do just the opposite every single time , but I keep the emails going!
