Do you hold any beliefs or opinions that aren't consistent with your political/philosophical label?

For example, if you're a liberal, are there any non-liberal beliefs that you have? I mean, no one is 100% liberal, or 100% conservative, or whatever. So, let me know. this should be interesting.

So, I'm a libertarian, but I'm against abortion after 16 weeks. I also think that SOME assistance should be offered to the genuinely out of luck.

    Sure.

For example, I am a registered Republican, and usually identify with the Republican agenda.

Well, most of it. Not all of it.

The two ares in which I am left-wing - even lefter than Democrats mind you - are in medical care and gun control.

But I ain't voting for Barry in November. Didn't do it in 2008, and I ain't doin' it in 2012.

I don't have a label because I don't believe in stereotyping. I'm liberal on some things (welfare for the poor, social security) and conservative on others (illegal immigrants).

I am politically progressive, but economically quite conservative. I think that we need to get the national debt under control. We need our government to be careful and frugal with public funds. Expenditures should be focused on long term benefits. In times of strong economic performance, like in 2000 we should use the surplus to pay down the deficit and set aside a rainy day fund.

That does not mean that we should never run a deficit. In times of economic contraction, government expenditures can help soften the blow and even speed the economies quicker recovery. It also does not mean that I think the government does not have a significant role is protecting it's people, especially the aged, infirmed, and poor.

I'm very middle of the road. I never know who to vote for.
    I'm pro gay marriage.
    I'm anti illegal immigration.
    I'm pro choice.
    I'm anti big government.
    I'm not particularly religious.
I don't buy into much of the ideas of modern environmentalists.

Not really, because as a libertarian, I can fly any way the wind blows and still be within what is deemed acceptable, since we (the libertarian party) never sacrifice our values for the the benefit of others.

It feels wonderful to be what I want to be without the democrats and republicans. Everyone should be so lucky.

I'm also against abortion after 16 weeks, since the woman has the choice but should do it before te baby develops that much.
