i work part time as my hours went from 40 to 20. the healthcare corporation i work for is always firing and cutting staff. thank god those CEO's getting paid $400,000+ a year don't ever get their hours cut. It's the little guys making $10/hr that are truly breaking the bank ya know.

Hahahaha I meant golf, same thing right? Just kidding, I did mean golf though. I also should have said that I am blessed, not lucky. I should get off here before I mess up much more! I'm tired!

Working a ranch/farm is always a full time job. Hours NEVER get cut here.

The last time I worked, like a year ago, I was a CNA. Generally CNAs don't get their hours cut, and if anything, work more often than they would like (at least from my experience). So, if you're willing to do that dirty, thankless job, you will most likely always have a job and always be full time if you want it.

I'm in college and have a baby I take care of at home full time otherwise, so I'm not working right now. I'm not one of those super moms who can do school, work, and take care of children. As soon as I finish school I will be going back to work again, though.

Two years ago, I had 1 hour of regular overtime cut due to our business closing an hour earlier. I can still get other overtime, but this 1 hour I lost was a scheduled hour each week, even if I had no other overtime scheduled.

I get 39-40 hours every week, sometimes, when there's a paid holiday, they'll cut us back, because we usually wind up working all holidays. Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day--all those days I still have to go in and work. The only days off we get are Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Full time job. The hours needed to do the job keep increasing, but I'm not paid hourly, so that doesn't increase my salary. However, I do love my job. :)

I have 2 jobs. One that is during the school year which is only 8 hours a week- plus I do school and animal rescue. Then during the summer I work for the same NFP averaging 30 hours a week. Never had my hours cut, only increased. Same with wages.

Yes. if they cut my hours I would go find a new job. There are full time jobs out there if you just go look, not many companies run an add in the paper anymore so you actually have to go look.

A Full Time Job. I make my own hours. I drive a cab. But 12 hours in a row is the most cause of fatigue is the law in Houston.

I'm self-employed so I dictate how often I work. However I have been finding it increasingly difficult to keep in contact with existing clients lately.
