Actually people like me donated money even when we couldn't afford it. People in DC are whining because they don't have electricity for a few days. People in other places have lost their homes, their families, and everything they own. And you want me to feel sorry for a few people that have to do without their laptops and televisions for a few days?

When Katrina hit, I took grocery money and went out an bought bottle water, new socks and toiletries for those that lost everything. We had to sell some stuff to make that payment, but I did it because they really needed it. What I hear from the majority of the DC area is whining because it's hot. Having lived through hell last summer where too much of Texas burned up, I can say they haven't got a clue.

Yes I do! I think its a disgrace that an international news organization would put a gay person in the anchor chair at a news desk. The next thing you know he will be sending subliminal messages to our children and convincing all of them to become gay. In protest, I will no longer be watching CNN. I will be watching Rachel Maddow on MSNBC which employs only straight news anchors! (Sarcasm and ironic humor for liberals with no sense of humor - LOL !).
