Actually, the only time when there was some degree of "consent" by the People was at the time of forming this government via the Constitution. All those who came later did not sign, did not consent, and by the Law of Contracts, cannot be bound by non-existent proxy.

IOW NONE of us consented to be Governed, but the Rulers still Rule. If it were only Obama, easy solutions are readily available. Something is very wrong with this picture!
