Do you feel it will be okay for the National Guard to patrol the streets of New Orleans, to go door-to-door, confiscating weapons?

This is ABSOLUTELY against American law. The military is never to police American citizens. This is a very dangerous, slippery slope. Recently, a law was passed that will allow American citizens to be picked up and indefinitely detained in military prisons without legal representation of a trial.
The 'powers that be' can simply decide we are a terrorist threat, pick us up at our homes, take us away from our families and we will have no recourse.
TSA has road blocks going on American highways.
There are two laws proposed that enable the government to use an 'internet kill switch' to shut down the internet if they feel the need to do so.
Rand Paul made a statement on the Senate floor when he spoke against the so-called 'defense law', the law that I referred to in my first paragraph. He spoke of a law stating that a terrorist can be a citizen that has over 7 days worth of food in his/her home, a person who has water proof ammunition or a person missing a finger.
I will not even go into the WikiLeaks evidence of mass surveillance through our cell phones and computers.
