According to a recent Gallup poll, Americans’ confidence in television news is at an all-time low. In 1993, when Gallup first started tracking confidence in our news networks, 46% of adults expressed a great deal or quite a lot of confidence. By last year, the percentage had dropped to 27%. This year, it’s even lower at 21%.
Interestingly, confidence levels dropped across almost all subgroups regardless of age, gender, political beliefs, or education. It used to be that conservatives were more skeptical of TV news than liberals and moderates. But in recent years, confidence within the latter two groups has plummeted and is now about even with conservatives.
“It is not clear precisely why Americans soured so much on television news this year compared with last,” read the Gallup report. “Americans' negativity likely reflects the continuation of a broader trend that appeared to enjoy only a brief respite last year. Americans have grown more negative about the media in recent years, as they have about many other U.S. institutions and the direction of the country in general.”
Gallup also went to great lengths to point out that this data was collected weeks before both CNN and Fox News mistakenly reported that the Supreme Court had found the Affordable Healthcare Act unconstitutional. It’s likely that this incident of erroneous reporting may have further soured Americans on television news.
So, what about you SodaHeads? Do you feel confident in the television news?

"The Police never collected Zimmerman's Clothes.
The Police let Zimmerman keep his Gun.
Zimmerman outweighed Trayvon by 100 pounds.
Trayvon was shot in the back of the head.
Police didn't even bother to put up crime scene tape.
Zimmerman wasn't Injured."
All of these are proven to be false by the forensic reports from the police investigation.
That info has been public for over a month.
It's what the Prosecutor has released as part of their evidence.
"Zimmerman wasn't arrested because his Dad, a retired judge, pulled some strings."
His Dad wasn't even a Judge. He is a retired Magistrate from Virginia.
"Koch brothers are funding George Zimmerman’s legal expenses."
"As for the of Koch's paying George Zimmerman's legal fees, we have found nothing (outside of mere repetition of the rumor) to support it, and Koch itself maintains there is nothing to it:"

"Zimmerman used a Racial Slur, and has a history of Racism."
This one comes from the DOJ's investigation into this being a hate crime. Their investigation found no history of racist views from Zimmerman, and audio experts that reviewed the recording determined he never said the word "coon."

Read a little then.
Then you can explain to me how the hell the official forensic reports from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are a spin zone?
They are the actual documents that are released by the court of law. So they are the part of the court of law.
Here ya go, I'll leave two different ones for you.
But you know it takes all of 20 seconds to find it with a basic google search.

http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/i/m...
But I'm still wondering why you consider official court documents to be spin now, but not spin when the trial is going on.
But since there's 183 pages there I'll give you time to browse through it before answering.
"The documents you provided contain very little fact and none even support your many assertions."
Lets test your claim with my assertions, and my links:

"The Police never collected Zimmerman's Clothes.
The Police let Zimmerman keep his Gun."
The 6 page report starting on page 103 is the results of DNA checks on the gun.
The 5 page report on page 110 details the same on Zimmerman's clothes.
There's also a 2 page report about the gun itself on page 119.
"Zimmerman wasn't Injured."
The 5 page report on page 110 details the DNA checks on bloodstains from Zimmerman's clothes. They prove the clothes had both his blood and Trayvons blood on them.
The fire department report on page 182 also list Zimmerman receiving treatment for his injuries.
The media had a field day with stories claiming he wasn't injured and there wasn't any blood on his clothes. Both of these were false claims.
"Trayvon was shot in the back of the head."
The Autopsy starts on page 125, this is another idiotic claim by media morons.
"Police didn't even bother to put up crime scene tape."

Wow, that was a real accurate claim you made there wasn't it...
Now since this is evidence being presented by the prosecutor, and it confirms parts of Zimmerman's Story, I really doubt Zimmerman's Lawyer will be using cross examination to cast doubt on it.
So, what exactly is there to interpret on those subjects?
I just said the Media reported a lot of false information about this case.
Information so wrong I can't see how anyone doing basic fact checking could have made the mistake.
It's like the idiot claiming the Aurora Shooter was a Tea Party member after only finding a matching name on a tea party website.
Even a 4 year old could have told him a 50+ year old guy isn't the same person as the 24 year old shooter...
And I fail to see any reasons they would impeach the official evidence from the investigation. After all this evidence is what the prosecution are using to charge him with a crime.
By your standard the Media was wrong to publish anything about this case until the trial.
"MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: "A man at a pro-health care reform rally...wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip....there are questions about whether this has racial overtones....white people showing up with guns." Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black."
"Following Brewer’s report, which occurred on the Morning Meeting program, host Dylan Ratigan and MSNBC pop culture analyst Toure discussed the supposed racism involved in the protests."
"Not only did Brewer, Ratigan, and Toure fail to point out the fact that the gun-toting protester that sparked the discussion was black, but the video footage shown of that protester was so edited, that it was impossible to see that he was black."

They chose to do a story about the White Supremacist nature inherent in his actions, and the threat they posed.
The video their cameraman shot was very carefully framed so you never see the person's skin. There is absolutely no way that could have happened unintentionally.
There is no way to justify that type of alteration in light of the type of story they tried to tell.
I took enough camera classes in film school to know there's no way you get the footage they showed by accident.
The only way that happens is if somebody purposely chooses to hide that man's race.
When you look at the type of story the reporters decided to sell using that footage it's hard not to jump to conclusions.
Occam's Razor is useful here.
The options are basically that:
1. Someone accidentally managed to hide all evidence of a person's race while shooting several minutes of footage of him walking around. The reporters assumed he was white and did their piece on racism.
2. The cameraman or an editor hid the person's race in the footage without informing anyone at MSNBC, and they assumed he was white and did their story about racism.
3. The footage was edited to hide the man's race and used to back up the story written about racism.
Of those number 1 is too improbable to accept. And numbers 2 & 3 involve purposeful alterations by MSNBC to tell the story they want to tell.
The lone actor idea from number 2 seems unlikely when you consider the other odd edits that have happened in recent years. All of which seem to be taking something that wasn't racist and making it out to be racist.
It is too precise a shot to get his rifle and back without any of his skin becoming visible, unless that is what you are trying to do.
Since they then used that footage to tell a story about how obvious it is that these people carrying guns are racists, it's even harder to believe it was an accident.
Either they were too incompetent to do their jobs and need to be fired, or it was done on purpose.
I've explain repeatedly how difficult a shot that is to get. It's similar to throwing a tennis ball through the windows of a moving car. It isn't something you can do by accident.
Either the Cameraman or an Editor decided to conceal the man's race in the footage.
