What I dont like about modern politics (at least in Britain) is the increasing blandness of politicians.
Nick Clegg (deputy prime minister) summed it up well in wonderful Basildon yesterday when talking about the budget cuts here.
"We arent doing this for an ideology, but for the national good.".
I think if there were more ideological politicians in parliament, who had their beliefs and stuck to them, I would have a great deal of more respect for them.
