I dislike President Obama because of his policies, his agenda, his arrogance and his disregard and dislike of America. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin, PERIOD. He has a serious problem telling the truth but I suppose that comes from being a Progressive, they must lie about their intentions or they'd never get elected. He's thin-skinned and I've never seen a President in my life that hated capitalism and refused to accept responsibility for his own actions. Is this what leadership looks like?

+24Actually, he has no character. He is an arrogant, self aggrandinizing little man and would be so no matter what color his skin. Leftists have played the race card to defend him so much that it's in tatters. Null and void.
Reverse the scenario for a moment. Imagine (purely hypothetical, it would never happen) that far right wing zealots had taken over congress and the presidency and they implimented a new body of laws essentially making America a theocracy where morality was law and church attendance was manditory.
Think for a moment. If Democrats were in Congress would they vote against this movement? Would they do everything in their power to OBSTRUCT this agenda? Would you expect them to roll over and agree with the President and "give him a chance" if this was his agenda? You know darn well you would not. In the present situation, neither will we.
Nothing Obama does is middle of the road. He is a far left radical that is systematically destroying this country. That is why we oppose him.
2. He has expanded the size of government by almost 30% in only 3 years.
3. He advocated and got passed Obamacare- an unconstitutional power grab by the federal government.
4. He has attacked constitutional rights, especially the first and second amendments.
5. He has asserted government control over religious institutions in an attempt to force them to change their views.
6. He has made many recess appointments while congress was not in recess.
7. He signs executive orders/agreements with no regard to whether he actually has the constitutional power to do such things as though he were a King handing down decrees to common serfs.
There are so many more. I can only conclude that you are a great, hairy troll if you assert that Obama is "middle of the road". He is Carter on steroids, and there is no denying it.

Obamacare is not radical. Romney helped design a similar plan for Massachusetts. The idea of a health care mandate originated with the Nixon presidency. All industrialized nations have some version of universal coverage.
There has been no attack on the Second Amendment whatsoever. Under the Obama administration, federal gun laws have been loosened. The Brady Center to prevent gun violence gives him a grade of "F". And thanks to a change in laws enacted by President Obama, you can now bring your guns to national parks.

I dont care who had more czars, the point is you cant have any. That NYT article should be in a comic book. It is an indisputable fact that the government has grown massively under Obama. Obamacare is radical. You failed to make distinctions between the Mass plan and Obamacare, the largest of which is that mass. is a state, not the federal government. You, working in the legal field should understand the concept of federalism.
Our government is built on liberty and capitolism, not socialism and welfare. To change to socialism and welfare would be a "radical" change. Saying other governments have done this has no bearing on our country.

Of course people are going to say they dislike him for his character... and that maybe be true. But a lot actually dislike him because of his race too. A SodaHead poll proves nothing.
Remember, these are the same people that are convinced Obama was born in Kenya, constantly call him a Muslim, and bash him for being a socialist when plenty of democratic presidents in the past have had the same polices/ideas yet got nowhere near as much backlash for it.
Race is a factor. As much as you want to cover your ears and pretend it's not. It is.

The question is why Obama is disliked, and the overwhelming showing is that it's not race based, it's because Obama is a Marxist and has no character. He whines, moans, bitches and complains when he can't have his controlling way, as do ALL self proclaimed "progressives". He promotes socialism that leads to central control of the lives of the people, not their liberty.
Marxist, socialist, fascist, communist. All of those have been used to describe Obama, he can't be all four. People love bashing and saying other people practice political ideologies, but they can't even define them properly.
