Even though Obama currently resides in the White House, there is NO WAY I will ever consider this person to be MY president. For that to happen, I have to have at least some respect for the man, Obama gets zero respect from me.
Obama has done more damage to America than any person in American history and is trying for as second term to finish the job of completely destroying our country. His habitual lying and disdain for our laws are as obvious as they get and yet the liberals and progressives continue to back this type of behavior up. This was made clear yesterday by a 23-17 vote to hold Eric Holder in contempt of court. 23 people want justice to be served for a dead American citizen, Brian Terry, and 17 do not want justice to be served for him. You be the judge on this one, just remember, Brian Terry could have been you and ALL of the Democrats voted against YOU.
Of course he's my president, he's every American's president whether they agree with him or not.
I have no respect for these fools who think that he was born in Kenya and try and blame him for the recession which began before he ever set foot in the White House, frigging idiots!
If the U.S. were currently under anything even remotely resembling a dictatortship you and I would not be having this public conversation. I have had the unfortunate experience of seeing first hand what it is like to live in a communist country and thank goodness the U.S. remins far from that. As for bneing more American than I can handle? WTH does that even mean? An American citizen is an American citizen - there is no degree of citizenship and no on eis any more ort less American than their fellow citizens. Kudos to your awesome self esteem though. ;-)
I am not an idealist who was charmed by your charismatic speech and rhetoric of hope and change... and who have now seen that this was nothing but a veneer with little substance.
He is MUCH better than War Criminal George Bush who slaughtered over 4,500 US Troops and over 1 Million Iraqi Civilians so a few of his buddies could make money on oil and defense contracts. And he also COLLAPSED our economy. That is the Republican way. The people aren't going to be fooled again.
It may be "nothing" to you. But it means "something" to the people who have had the families and lives ripped apart so some rich scumbags could make a buck.
If Obama is reakkt from Kenya he is then guilty of several crimes. This was a purposefu falsehood. All Obama Laws are null and void. He will be worthy of long jail sentences. Do not let him escape in the night
I didn't vote for him and think he and his administration of amateurs are doing a piss-poor job, but he is the POTUS and I am an American. That makes him my President.
There have only been two times that I felt we were leader less - Carter and now Obama. He is the president so will not say he is not but he is very very weak and incompetent.
Being honest, this is a very difficult question for me. I was raised to hold a great deal of respect for the Office of the President of the United States. On only one occasion has the person I voted for held that particular office, and even in that one instance, I had a lot of buyers remorse. I didn't vote for Obama. I can't stand his policies, and I pray that he is voted out in November. It would be nice if he were warming a seat, but he is not. He is a very activist President, and has done enormous damage to our nation in a very short time, adding to a nation ruining trifecta which began with 8 years of Clinton, 8 years of W, a now 3 years of Obama. I don't see Romney as the do all and end all of political change for our country, but I'm sure willing to give him a try. I want Obama out so badly, that I am planning on voting for the Romney. I voted third party last election, but have re-evaluated the value of that stance. Okay, the original question, no.....I don't view Obama as a seat warmer. He is an active and activist President. He is also my President, as long as he is holding the office of President of the United States, even though I didn't vote for him, because it doesn't matter whether you voted for him or not. He's the one who is holding the office. To overlook the strength of his office, and to trivialize him is dangerous. He should be viewed as a threat which must be dealt with at the ballot box. In the mean time, he should be fought by Congress to the full extent of U.S. law.
I was raised the same way...until now. And I agree, Obama has done more damage to America than anyone in history. THIS is why I DO NOT consider him to be my president and never will and will NEVER give him any respect.
Didn't vote for him in 2008, won't vote for him in November. Consider him a disgrace as POTUS and doesn't have the competence required of the office. Just a benchwarmer.
I am a citizen of the United States, President Obama is the POTUS. Thus he is my president whether I like it or not. The fact that some claim he is not their President doesn't change the fact that he is so long as they are citizens.
Ironically, as I write this, there's an ad at the top of this page called "African Americans for Obama - We Have his Back!" That pretty much sums up this President, the most divisive President in my lifetime. He hasn't represented me yet, so therefore he's not MY President.
And btw: this kiddo isn't going anywhere .. I'm more American than you can handle buddy!

Unless proven otherwise.
