Obama is looking into all the gun ban suggestions and seems to have a huge
decision to make. I guess this is to be expected since we have had a lot of
shootings lately. But will banning any guns and ammo really end the
violence in our Country?

+15What is with idiots trying to label certain guns as assault weapons. If you assault someone with any gun its an assault weapon. Hell if you assault someone with a pillow its an assault weapon. However if you own an M16 and use it to defend yourself wouldnt it be called a defence weapon. Anything is what you make it to be. People just like to blame inanimate objects cause they dont want to accept that humans are the real problem.

I agree, if we want to ban everything that will hurt or kill us, we might as well live in a bubble. Then we will need to start a ban on cars, alcohol, food, knifes and so many other things we use on a daily basis...lol

As criminal minded people will still have their weapons of choice while legally minded people won't.
How's that gonna stop the homicides when legal people don't commit homicides????
It will only send the message to criminals that we are an unarmed society that are ripe for the picking!!!
The more armed legally minded people, the less crime with guns in our cities. That's the answer to gun crime. Sending the message to criminals that most people have guns and will use them to stop criminals with guns if need be!

Then you ask "Will banning any guns and ammo really end the violence in our country?" Who in the hell said it or ANY law could end violence in the US? The best we can do is make it harder than it has been to commit mass murder via guns. And yeah, if the killer has to then use a knife or a shovel fine.
