First, let's get up to speed...watch this video so you can see how the money was borrowed and how it is being paid back.

Now, watch this video and see if you're as proud of GM and saving it as you should be. If you don't watch it, don't comment.

So, why does there continue to be so much proof that it's Obama that is directly and fragrantly outsourcing our tax dollars, and you still don't believe it?

They are losing market share, and building a crappier product, and in the case of the Volt it is way overpriced. In other words, nothing has changed at GM. They haven't lowered their labor cost, their materials cost. This company is going down. It's been said before, some companies have a marketing problem, some a product problem, some have a labor problem, and some have management problems. GM has all those problems. Here we have 0bama running around handing out our money to state, and local governments knowing he can't do it forever, because sooner or later GM is going to drive right into reality, and guess who will get hurt the most? The sucker taxpayer. The subject, not the citizen. Now you Libs out there still want to know how 0bama is taking away our rights? Yep we are forcefully invested in GM. See libs if I had rights in this country, I would invest in what I WANT to INVEST in. Not what 0bama wants me to invest in. Let 0bama invest his own money in GM. Just leave us the hell alone.

I did! Past performance bolstered by the Taxpayer, NOT their business model!

Are they doing as well now? NO, they're NOT!

Propping up a company (oh, like say Solyndra) with taxpayer funds KNOWING that they're failing, is illogical!

If GM doesn't alter its business model to what the American Public want, they WILL go bankrupt. And THAT is what's being reported by reputable news agencies.

The NTYs is no longer reputable!

There's no disputing this. GM was about to fail. Thousands of jobs would have been lost not only within the company but also outside in the auto industry. The companies that made their parts woukd lose a huge buyer and therefore woild have taken a detrimental hit. What people need to understand is that this wasn't only because of GM. It would have a huge blow to all other connected elements within thr auto industry. The people complaining now about the jobless rate would have had so much more to complain about if GM were to just fail.

I did watch the video and I happen to have a different opinion. I'm not a fan of what these big companies are doing but outsourcing is happening with nearly every large American company expanding overseas. It will continue happening as long as there is cheaper labor and more lax regulations outside of this company.

I am on the side of the thousands of workers who would have lost their jobs as a result of GM failing. It would have been detrimental to the entire auto industry.

They're moving it out of the US using our taxpayer money. Most of the money went to the unions, it was a massive transfer of wealth and a payback to the unions. Now, we're working with communist China and funding research for them? OMG, wake up!

Would they (or any) company outsource their labor if the taxcode was actually following the Constitution?

"There is no part of the administration of government that requires extensive information and a thorough knowledge of the principles of political economy, so much as the business of taxation. The man who understands those principles best will be least likely to resort to oppressive expedients, or sacrifice any particular class of citizens to the procurement of revenue." - Alexander Hamilton, Federalist 35

Factcheck.org of the Annenberg Foundation. Obama and Ayers participated in the Annenberg Challenge. All they're doing is skirting around the real issues and calling it false. No one said the Chinese own GM!

Who made the video is not the point but if you want to look at it all and verify it, this is a source that factcheck lists. So, seems like the fact that GM is sponsoring a Chinese propaganda film about the founding of their party is true.

    http://chinaautoweb.com/2010/...

Then the part about China buying the plants in Michigan, it seems to be the truth. Again, this is a source that they list.

    http://online.wsj.com/article...

In fact, look up the rest of the sources and you'll see quite the indictment of outsourcing of our jobs.

I found what the CEO said to be quite honest, of course he was speaking in China and I'm sure he wouldn't have admitted half of that in the US. We're giving R&D and outsourcing that to China. We might as well because they own most of our debt anyway.

What you're trying to say is that if you connect the dots and it draws a clear picture, maybe a dot or two aren't completely filled in? Such a hard thing to defend, video or not. That's just an overview of the complete truth.

I never said it did, I said we've funded it. GM is still going down, we've just destroyed the wealth for the legal bondholders and given it to the unions to bail them out.
