BLOAT doesn't even BEGIN To describe the problem ...
START by completely/permanently defunding ALL Czars, staffs, offices, etc ..
Cut all Political Appointment Seats by at least 50%
CUT the staffs for all political seats .. (by at least 50%)
Cut the duplicates in Bureaucracies ..
Cut all non-necessary Departments too (Education, Energy, DHS are amongst those to completely dismantle)
and there's no way the spouse of a politician needs ANY servants at all ..
(let her keep track of her own schedule and go to the closet and dress herself).
that would be a great start ..

No, I don't. In fact, I think it's too small and toothless because of all the cutbacks and whatnot. Were it up to me, there'd be a federal government, a regional government comprised of a few states, and then state governments that answer to both the federal and regional governments.
