Do you believe that our beloved troops coming home from Iraq, and Afghanistan,deserve a welcome home parade across (their) Country?? Should they have to beg President Obama for that to happen????

Many VETERANS have been asking President Obama to please let them have welcome home parades, you know the country that they fought for (America)?? THEY HAVE A SIGNED PETITION!! President Obama has plenty of time and money to give all kinds of award partys for famous singers, sports figures, pay back for donations, movie stars....friends,..terrorists(bill ayers), but as usual He once again shows his deep love and patriotism for America ....SHAME TO YOU PRESIDENT OBAMA SHAME TO YOU

Those who are willing to die for their country deserve so much more but to be welcomed home with nothing to celebrate their sacrifice for their country shows a lack of honor and respect from the man in charge of our country!

Apparently you are void of any sort of knowledge these organizations represent. these organizations represent the Veteran and are for members who have fought in wars or have been in active service during the time of war. they do not have the funds to support a parad. They should be included in the parade since they were either actively involved in the war or on the ready line to give the ultimate sacrifice to save your inconsiderate ass

They run fantastic watering holes, and they are allowed to raise funds through selling steaks, burgers, hot dogs, raffles etc. the big problem is that the coffers for home town parades are empty... maybe we should have it on the 4th of July when we all walk down the road together, but I do not know if you have noticed but our troops are not home as of yet... and when they do arrive home they will be Veterans just as you and I.

Why the hell would they get a parade? Celebration for blowing to hell helpless countries that are 1/17 as powerful as us? Woo good job guys. Plus they're all volunteers, it's their God damn job. They didn't protect anybody's freedoms, and they sure as hell didn't fight that war to protect America. So why they'd get a parade is beyond me.

Sorry but I don't just give every soldier the title of hero because I'm told they're heroic. Soldiers aren't heroic. They're human beings and like human beings they have faults. The job soldiers do is kill people. I don't think that's very heroic. Especially when they're killing people thousands of miles away who have nothing to do with us. Killing many people who didn't need to die, who weren't threatening us. So go ahead and beat your patriot drum and get a big hard on for the American flag, but count me out of your morbid celebration.
