Do you believe that Obama is GENUINELY concerned with strengthening America?

"After my election i'lI have more flexibility." (To disarm America)
We know the world is a dangerous place. As Clinton said, there are new emerging governments that are weak in governing because they are so new. It is our responsibility as the toughtest player on the block to protect our interests. It would be helpful if the Dept. got the resources they need to do so.
He has never said he is going to take away your stupid guns. There are 300,000,000 of them in this country. How soon do you think the Feds are going to be knocking on your door to take yours? If you guys would think rationally for two seconds, you would understand that it isn't guns, its common sense. Hopefully some of you will get some.
Listen to what Sen. Barack Obama said in a speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate in 2006 as a matter of record:
“Mr. President, I rise today to talk about America’s debt problem. The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our government’s reckless fiscal policies.
That is a clip, but I am sure you catch the drift right?
For twenty years, the Democrats have been trying to convince Americans that they weren’t coming for their guns. As we near almost twenty years of Democrats posing with their hunting rifles and touting their halfhearted support of the Second Amendment, the Democrats are celebrating their hard-earned headway with the American people by- you guessed it- coming for the peoples’ guns.
The irony would be funny if it weren’t so tragic.
What is wrong with these people? I understand that the left has little use for history and the lessons it serves, but these legislators were alive when Democrats were run out of Congress on a rail. In fact, many were serving at the time! Surely they can recall the political fallout from their brazen trampling of our Second Amendment rights; so why try and recapture that catastrophe from which it took twenty year...

Is this some sort of political masochism?
The answer: They think they’re untouchable. In 2004, the best they could scrounge up was John Kerry- a man so exciting that he makes Mitt Romney look like Steven Tyler. Fast forward ten years later, and the powerhouse Democratic Party has spread it’s messaging near and far, to the young and old and to the rich and poor. They have momentum, and they think they can continue to do whatever they want.
However, their hubris caused them to kick the hornets’ nest. Because while many Americans have developed too lenient of an attitude towards government ineptitude and backwards policies, the quickest way to make them stand up and take notice is by omitting the stench of tyranny when slowing reaching for their guns.
Since 1994, every Democrat, with very few exceptions, have had to give their obligatory speech announcing their support for gun rights. “Yada, yada, yada I am a believer in hunting rights. I won’t try and repeal the Second Amendment.” It’s been this way for twenty long and frustrating years.
Even President Obama and ol’ Slow Joe Biden have come out to say that they “support the Second Amendment.” But by saying so, they’re telling us something different. Notice how they never come out and say, “I’m for you having freedom of speech,” or “I’m against quartering soldiers in your home.” No, instead, they have to single out and claim that they’re okay with the right to bear arms- But the mere fact that they have to say that indicates otherwise. If you’re running for the presidency, you should be okay with the Second Amendment!
In fact, as Americans, we’re not asking your opinion- if you want to be an elected official, you will have to swear an oath saying you will protect and defend the Constitution, not only the parts with which you agree! If you have any reservations about whether you should abide by any of the amendments, then find another line of work- I hear Kinko’s is hiring.
The Republican Revolution of ’94 is a cautionary tale. The Democrats flew too close to the sun on that one, and paid a steep price. The political fallout was enormous for the Democrats in Congress and Clinton may have been re-elected, but that really said more about Bob Dole than it did about Bill
Clinton.
The modern Democratic Party is headed by radicals who have become entirely too cocky. Americans have a long history of fierce independence when it comes to firearms and this new push to disarm the American population may have devastating results for the leftists.
But if the Democrats insist on revisiting this trauma, that’s fine. Let’s just hope they don’t take our Second Amendment down with them.
