He has polarized our country in many ways, the most damaging of which is causing racial discord amongst fellow Americans.

If you have seen the movie Mr. Smith goes to Washington which was released in 1939. You will notice the everyone in the Senate was of European decent. The are those in this country that wish the country to retrogress back to those days. We have an African American Present. This is only the second time that office has been held by someone who wasn't rich, white, and Protestant. Now, Obama is looking at being elected for a second term. Thus, five years from now there is a strong possibility that Clinton will run and if she does there is a really good chance she will win. In that case the last two Presidents would have been a black man and a woman! Many people see this as a real possibility. If that were to happen, how long will be before we have our first hispanic or east indian decent? Thus, the establishment ("status quo") (white men) are vigorously fighting against that type of change. So, you keep the change in your pocket because your gonna need them to go toward the purchase of a pair of classes because you can't see worth sh...!

When enough change is evident as you say, you won't want to be anywhere near the noise !The "Status Quo" will kick your ass.

thanks for making my point. when u here something like "we want to take r country back," that type of verbiage post-1876 (ignorance) is what's polarizing. newsflash, those days r long gone! enjoy the those that remain while they last...

You can't even write a sentence. But to address your prior statement, I wasn't always in this frame of mind. Not until the black started feeling "EMPOWERED" because we have a black man in office. I have just been pushed as far as I will be pushed. The semi quote that I wrote in my last statement is from 4-5 black Protestant Ministers warning his people, the blacks, to quit pushing the white man the way you have been doing or the black will suffer the consequences. They also stated that they will stand withthe white men. They are better armed than we are, refering to the whites being better armed. You have proven MY point that the President has polarized the nation far worse than it has been for 50 yrs. Racism is alive and well today because the black won't quit whinning over what happened to the blacks 150 yrs ago. You are perpetuating the notion of entitlement by default [being black]. Yes Obama and people like you have polarized the country to a point of what I fear is the point of no return. So, "KEEP PUSHING". You will get what you are asking for. It will sadly happen. But as usual, you will blame it on anybody but yourself.

I have a BS in Business, an MS in HR, an MAT, an Ed.S and currently working on a Ph.D in General Psychology. The only reason why I'm spending so much time on the net today is because its one of those rare moments where I'm not taking classes this summer

I go back to my original point. It is a fact that people resist change. Most people prefer the status quo. Obama represents the type of change most people don't want to see. There is a reason why it took 230 years for the county to elect its first minority President. It's why women were allowed to vote for the first time less than 100 years ago, its the reason why we still have civil rights issues in this country (Jim Crow laws, segregation, and Black Codes were all in place 50-60 years ago). When I was working on my second masters one of my teachers ask: "why don't the minorities in this country join forces to elect politicians that will act on their behalf and not the rich and powerful?" We are starting to see all these things change and the "1%" are fearful. Why do you think citizens united was passed? The one thing the wealthy and powerful can't get around in this country is "one man, one vote." Racism has been the greatest invention of the establish; keep the masses distracted while we continue to get RICH

Treachery and deceit is the stock and trade of democrats in general and this administration in particular. Say one thing, but do another. He said post racial and we got racist policies particularly in the DOJ. He said transparent and we got opaque. He said no lobbyists and simply issued dozens of exemptions for his cadre of lobbyists. He said the audacity of hope and we got the audacity of dope. In November we get the hook out.

Obama has set back the clock on equality for all races. He has caused tention between race, sex, and class. There is no doubt about it. He has set us back degrades on achieving equal rights. He has made the good guys the bad guys and bad guys the good. It has been for his political and personal gain. What he has done is despicable and I pray someday he will be held accountable.
