If they did any kind of monitoring, they would just have to pick one Conservative website because they're all pretty much the same, and the threads contain one or more of the following:

- Obama is some kind of mix of -ist(s)
- Childish morphs of Obama's name, you know something even middle schoolers find juvenile
- Some silly photoshopped Jpegs
- whatever the manufactured outrage du jour is
- old, stale memes (especially on slow news days)
- tin foily statements with no basis of reality
- unsubstantiated copy pasta
- arguments with terrible logic and spelling

Also, I've seen posts where people fantasize harm to the President. If they are really monitoring here, they're doing a really bad job.

they are and do monitor any civil discourse websites....they have to fill the camp roster somehow.

I know beyond any doubt that the FBI and Secret Service are, because of the multiple death threats made towards the President on this site. A couple of years ago the conservatives here were all about "revolution" and "second amendment remedies."

Both are, of course, treason pure and simple.

One poster here very clearly stated that he was active duty military and he felt it was his duty, if he got the chance, to assassinate the President. I personally called the FBI field office and when I mentioned the name of the site the agent on the other end of the phone told ME who I was calling about. I was later told that the poster in question was sent to prison for threatening the life of the President.

I expect that as the campaign season heats up and the tea party conservatives here go into their electoral group psychosis they'll start making the threats again, and when that happens I'll re-post my blog about how and what to report to the authorities. Death threats against anyone are a felony, for those who may not know, but when they are against the President there is a zero tolerance rule in effect.

The FBI and Secret Service don't care if you couldn't really do it, if you say you might, you're going to prison, so let's see if we can use a little self control and dignity this year shall we?
