Sorry to disappoint you ... my parents were not born here -- neither was I ... lest you forget -- EVERY "pure blooded American" can trace his/her roots back to an immigrant ... even the "Native Americans" migrated from Asia tens of thousands of years ago ... so, "there is no such animal".

I say guy, my stepfather was illegal for awhile then he decided to go back to Mexico and become a citizen because he felt wrong being illegal and having to worry about being deported. So he went back to Mexico and started the process the right way. That was five years ago and now after about a couple grand he is nowhere nearer to becoming an American citizen than you or I are to becoming Mexican citizens.

My brother in law is from Mexico he came to this country in the 60s with his family it took them awhile but there u.s. Citizens . All I can say is good luck to your step father and your family sometimes doing thing the honest way doesn't always work out the way you want it .

What happened to the Native Indians should not be forgotten, and if you want to blame people for the economy and the lack of jobs then blame all the "WHITE" people that keep outsourcing them overseas to sweatshops with little children inside them. Stop shopping at Walmart and form a boycott against them if you really want to make an impact.

Not if we don't stop hiring them and giving them welfare. If we don't start deporting them when they are caught, they will continue to cross our borders. As far as anchor babies go, they need to go back to their parents homeland. That was not set up for just anybody, it was set up so slaves could stay here and be free with their children. Not just anyone who crosses the border and drops a kid. I think all illegals should be marched right back where they came from. It is not fair to the immagrants who came here the LEGAL way and work hard to be AMERICAN. The LEGAL IMMAGRANTS show respect for this country and learn the language, and are "for the most part" self supporting.
