Most House members have large staffs, since all money bills begin in the House. Everything gets read, at least by Democratic staffers. I don't know about the Republicans.

No, Obama came into the presidency not liking America. He has been trying to 'fundamentally change' the country to his socialist model. He has gone out of his way to divide the American people in every imaginable manner. He operates in secrecy against the American people and yet openly against our enemies (leaking national secrets to the NY Times).

He has thrown his religion(s) under the bus, his pastor, several advisers and brother, and even his mother under the bus. What makes you think we won't be next?

I despise this man for what he has done to my country. I personally believe that Obama is the single greatest threat to America. In my eyes, he is the enemy. He managed to bam-boozle his way into office, and I look forward to embarrassing defeat in November.

It is not the Democrats who are lowering the quality of education in this country. Republicans are busy slashing education funding and firing teachers wherever they can. They had a good start with NCLB, and now they are trying to completely decimate education for generations to come.

No, it is all true. Haven't you been paying attention the last couple of years? Republican governors and legislatures have been busy stripping public employees of bargaining rights, and they have been firing or laying off large numbers of teachers, fire fighters and police.

He never had a super majority in the Senate, with Joe Lieberman, Jim Webb, Ben Nelson, Blanche Lincoln, Mary Landrieu and others voting with the Republicans. He had to deal with filibusters on every bill.

In normal times, when the two parties worked together for the good of the country, the filibuster was not used and the work got done.

Now every Democratic bill and every appointment is filibustered in the Senate, and nothing gets done, all in an attempt to bring Obama down. It won't work.

We can't say he hasn't tried, but the GOP is determined to not work with him. They want to see the economy fail, because they think it will be a way of defeating him in November.

ACA is a great example. Obama bent over backward trying to get Republican input, and he used some of their ideas in the final version of the bill, but they still voted against it en masse. How much more is he supposed to do?
