Do you agree with Tom Smith's comparison between having a kid out of wedlock and having a kid after being raped?

One of them involves being raped.

Republican nominee Tom Smith must be a part of Todd Akin's Clueless Club. It's apparently in the Republican DNA. One of his daughters had "a baby out of wedlock."

Asked if he was comparing having a baby out of wedlock to rape, Smith said "No, no, no . . . but put yourself in a father's situation, yes. It is similar." Pressed to explain, he said: "I'm not going to argue about the method of conception."

His daughter willingly dropped her thong for some guy, so in his eyes... it's similar to rape?? Really ?? Megan Piwowar, a spokeswoman for Smith, clarified on Monday evening that the candidate's comments were "misunderstood " . Isn't that the standard reply when Republicans continually show their stupidity?
