A Baltimore Ravens player expressed his support for same-sex marriage. Well, this sounds ok for those who believe in freedom of speech, but obviously not for a Maryland state lawmaker, Emmet Burns, who wrote a letter threatening the player for expressing his support for marriage equality. Chris Kluwe, a Minnesota Viking player, decided to take a stand and wrote a letter to Burns defending his fellow B.R's player.

Hmmm... could not edit above so just wanted to say that it was nice to see a player from the Steeler's as well as the owner (?) of the Ravens supporting Brendon Ayanbadejo, too.
