they shouldn't have been paid at all for the past 1,111 and counting days!
(can we take back all their salaries, perks, staff pay too! )

That and they shouldn't be allowed to be in office more than a 2 terms and be required to work a real job for a living.

In fact I think their pay and benefits should be slashed by half on a permanent basis and that two terms is all they can have.....and no lifetime benefits, either.

We should be able to go a step farther. If they do not pass a reasonably balanced budget within a reasonable time they cannot run for re election. If a budget is not passed then they might also loose their exit benefits. They failed to do their job... they loose their key to ripping us off.

This is for all you libs on this one The House has put out a budget for the last two years you may not agree with what they put forth but they did their job the Senate has not Reed tabled the house’s budget with out a vote now then what normally happens is both the house and senate put forth the budget proposals and it goes to a joint committee and a budget comes out that both parties can agree on. I SAID THIS IS NORMAL BUT there is nothing normal with Reed and that one in the oval office the sooner they leave the better off the country will be.

What needs to happen here is the Senate Democrats need to privately confront HR and tell him to resign his post or the DNC needs to confront him and tell him to step down. I am sure by now that the elite in the Democratic Party realize that they are losing voter support with H.R.'s Senate leadership . The DNC must see that they are going to lose Senate seats because of H.R. I would not be surprised that the DNC does not soon say they have no confidence in his leadership.

I know this confuses you Cons to no end. A formal budget could not be passed for FY2012 because of The Budget Control Act of 2011, but of course, I'm sure you have no idea what that even is.

The actual appropriations for Fiscal Year 2012 were enacted as three appropriations bills in November and December 2011, which is in accordance with the United States budget process and law. They are:

Continuing Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-55)
Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-74)
Disaster Relief Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-77)

These 3 Appropriation Bills passed satisfy Federal Law in place of a formal budget.

Who is "he" and who said anything about "February 7?"

The FY2013 Budget is not due until October 1.

February 7, President Obama was to send to Congress his budget proposals for fiscal year 2013, which begins October 1, 2012. Fiscal year begins in october, not the budget proposal.

October 1 is the deadline. That's when its passage is due. Learn how to read.
