    Yes I agree with that statement, although whom or what it was "endowed by..." remains questionable. It seems that the Right to Life is the essence of our continuing existence.

    And this is why I will resist forever the stupid marxist slant that "the greater good" is more important than you or I are.

    The statement is eloquent,patriotic and grateful. Grateful to God for granting us life, patriotic for allowing us liberty and eloquent in the thought that we all have the right to pursue happiness. These are our God given rights not our Government given rights.Men are doomed when they put money and power over God and Freedom.

    Maybe you would like to read Jefferson's original draft of the Declaration of Independence before it was revised by other members of the Committee of five and by Congress.

    "We hold these truths to be sacred and undeniable; that all men are created equal and independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent and inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, and liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; that to seure these ends, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers fron the consent of the governed;"

    Thomas Jefferson (April 13, 1743 (April 2, 1743 O.S.) – July 4, 1826)

    Locke was noted and long departed when Jefferson was a mere glimmer in his Dads eye. Jefferson's vision and input are by no means nothing to scoff and I consider them a treasure .... damned shame our Leaders revel in trashing that treasure.
