Ron Paul is one of the few politicians in Washington D.C. who have read, and actually understands the Constitution. I have a few disagreements with him on policy, but I think he is a patriot and bristle at the characterizations of him in the MSM.

Weigh in the pros and cons. If there are more pros than cons, it makes sense to me that he gets the job as the next POTUS.

Defense is the best offense. Isolation will leave the rest of the world ripe for the taking. A vote for Ron Paul is a waste of time and effort. Do your self a favor stay home don't waste the gas.

Not the way we are doing it. Being the world police will run us dry on funds and friends. If we can't trust people around the world to care for themselves, we have trust issues ourselves and shouldn't be trusted. Ron Paul has my vote because he understands the crisis we are in. Do all Americans a favor and vote who you want as president and not who you "think" can beat the current one -- sometimes faith and hope are all that we have!

You sound like a democrat. Blame America first. You think pulling out of the Middle East is going to improve the situation? Vote for Ron Paul or don't vote at all it's still a vote for the status quo. The president has limited powers and can't do anything without Congress.

I'm confident in my choice and I will allow God to do His will. If we all pray for a good president I'm sure God will hear us. Really that's are only way to get out of the mess we are in. God is the only one that is in complete control.

I agree with some of the points mentioned here and others not mentioned; there are also some I don't. However I "disagree" with the actions of his people who, as many do in similar situations, justify their bullying, obstructionist tactics out of necessity or because they are a misunderstood, disenfranchised, but enlightened minority. Deliberately disrupting a caucus or convention of another political party would seem to be inhibitory of the right of freedom to privately association. And Republicans are a private entity which is the justification for eliminating the election of our Precinct Committee Officers from publicly paid for ballots.

And, hat's off to their grassroots organizational ability, they wreak havoc often by simply wearing down and outlasting other attendees. The primary goal should be the defeat of President Obama. Circumstances are setting up to make that task less difficult, but, at this point, it is far from a given. My greatest concern is that the necessary unity will be fractured, or not even realized, even as various elements of the coalition which elected Obama struggles to maintain its own.

I've said elsewhere, ideally, Dr. Paul might be what this country needs. But, there is too likelihood of convincing the necessary, widely politically diverse majority of the electorate.

So, I'm sorry the bitter truth is Ron Paul cannot defeat Obama; it ain't fair, it may not be right, but it is what it is. If there is another agenda at work, reveal it now. Maybe it'll prevent all of the resentment and anger I already feel building in anticipation of my party's county upcoming convention. Or, maybe, I can be convinced it'll be, or afterwards was, worthwhile.

There is very little to disagree with him on, in terms of government and politics. Even if you do disagree, only a fool wouldnt recognize that all other candidates would keep us on the same road to ruin (creating our offshore enemies, crony capitalism, and impossible to pay debt).

I fully agree with Paul's fiscal philosophy, but his philosophy on foreign relations and some other areas make him unelectable. He knows the Constitution as well as Gingrich. In politics there must be a little give and take in order to be effective. Unfortunately Paul is unable or unwilling to waver when it comes to his convictions. This has resulted in his being frowned upon by many of his fellow legislators, making it difficult for him to get any major legislation passed. I do believe he will have some impact, though. I think whomever the Republican candidate may end up being, if that candidate is elected President, he will look seriously at Paul's fiscal ideas.

I agree with many of Ron Paul's opinions. He simply looks too dorky to be President. Unfortunately, many that would likely make an excellent President are unelectable. Howard Baker, the former Senator from Tennessee being one case in point.

You don't have to agree with someone lifestyle choices, but when they don't question yours that's respect and true freedom. It seems painful not telling someone what to do, but do we need big brother telling us what to eat, what medical treatment is allowed. . .and so on. . .

I don't hate Romney, but I do NOT like his voting record or past. He is a flip-flopper! The group with the most cash will be able to twist and turn him for their favor. Obama is the same way. Ron Paul does not compromise. We NEED this attribute in a president -- someone that won't sell us out!

The media and the GOP have been fighting to keep RON PAUL out of the spotlight, but the more they ignore him the more curious people become to learn more about him!

Ron Paul is truly our only hope. Another 4 years with any of the other "media/GOP favored" candidates and you can say good bye to our country as we know it.

I dislike Romney for his flip floping, his very very liberal ideals and corporatist, not capitalist and not free market, ideology. The man still defends his RomneyCare, even though it is a failure, not to mention the model for ObamaCare. If Romney is elected you can expect four years of slightly less damage than Obama.

Romney is a business man. Massachusettes is a very liberal state. I think Mitt is a RINO but with a Republuican controlled Congress he'll be Conservative enough. The first step is winning the election. Ron gets less than 10% of the primary vote he'd be lucky to get 10% in the general. That would be embarassing.

If Ron Paul can get at least 20% of the votes, I believe, he will pave the way for a new party on the voting ticket.
