I just retired from teaching after 36 years. But, I lost my home at the end of the Bush administration when the housing market tanked, so I think we have to blame more than just the Obamas. Hopefully things will improve. So sorry about your job. I certainly know how that feels. My husband was dying of cancer when my home went under....and Bank of America sold my mortgage to Freddy Mac.....need I say more??? They promised to restructure the loan since I was supporting a sick husband and paying for the mortgage on one income and had a kid in college...the bank said, they would restructure payments but in order to do that I had to stop paying for 3 months and then I would qualify for the loan modification. I did as they told me and they slapped a foreclosure on me.....you have no idea....all while my 55 year old husband was dying of pancreatic cancer....So I have no love lost for Bush. But, that could have happened during either administration. It is very tough times. Last year I had two kids in my class living in their cars because their parents lost their jobs. AND the state wants the children to score well on tests??? Seriously? How can they do their homework affectively when they are trying to get a meal and a place to use the bathroom. It is awful!!!

Let me make this as simple as possible even though you probably still won't get it. Government expansion by progressives in EITHER party take away state sovereignty and personal liberty. Shrinking the government allows governance at levels that allow the people to safeguard against tyranny. Bigger bad, smaller good. Have you actually looking at the number of government regulations put forth by this president and his advisors? The tentacles are entrenched into everything!
